From Devi we received a very warm welcoming at that wonderful location right at the beach. Everything is very clean and the housekeeping is taking good care. A wonderful garden with lots of shade places to enjoy and a refreshing pool if there is not enough water in the ocean due to the tide. Only one recommendation a schedule when housekeeping on which days and times will be there to plan accordingly. The owner is replying very quickly to all questions.We had a great time there

Good times in Mauritius

The house is very spacious and quite clean. Everything was working well or got repaired within a few days. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have air-condition, the bathrooms have good showers. We felt very safe in this place also it has alarm systems. We would come again.

Fabulous stay

The traditional Mauritian house on the beach was just a dream come true. The situation is perfect, it is very quiet even on weekends or with functions at the neighbouring Jardin du Nautilus. The view is stunning, the garden beautiful and well tended. The owner is very accomodating, communication nearly Instant, the maid is an absolute dear. Lucky us we have know Mauritius for a long time, so we felt no need to rush around, but just enjoyed staying in because it is so utterly restful. Surely not our last time here.

Perfect Holiday

Thanks to the great hospitality and kindness of the people we met at Mauritius and the impressive nature of the island we spent a fantastic time there. The villa in Albion was the perfect base for our trips over the island with a calm beach next to the garden with the pool. All of that would not have been as perfect without Devi who introduced us to people, culture and cuisine. And who kept the hosehold in perfect condition. Thank you. Dream House, Dream LocationWe spent a wonderful time in this dream house – simply perfect! The direct location by the sea was an absolute highlight, and we enjoyed it every single day. The house itself is very spacious, perfectly equipped, and spotlessly clean – we truly didn’t miss a thing. The large terrace was a place of pure relaxation where we spent countless pleasant hours.A very special thanks goes to DEVI and the gardener: they supported us with so much heart, kindness, and attentiveness that we felt completely cared for. Tranquility in Mauritius

Very roomy and adequate kitchen. The bedrooms were air conditioned, a must. It was lovely to have a garden and small pool. We had a housekeeper who came in to tidy absolute luxury. The garden opened onto a beach the only problem for me was as I love to swim and snorkel one the lagoon was very shallow and all the fish anyway are taken by fisherman.shopping was very good nearby but restaurants were few and far between. In all we had six glorious weeks and could have stayed longer.

June Stay in Albion

Overall, our stay at the home was very pleasant. If you are looking for a way to immerse yourself in Mauritius as a “local” then I would recommend staying here. The home is right on the beach with a west facing view so it gets beautiful sunsets. Devi the house manager is also great and comes to keep the place clean and tidy during your stay. The host is responsive as well.Of note, Devi only speaks French so the language barrier can be tough if you don’t know the language. I would also recommend giving the home number in the address within check in instructions. It was very difficult to find the house without it.

Magique !!

Un seul mot : parfait !Maison très vaste, très fonctionnel et très bien entretenue.Il ne manque rien.Devi qui s'occupe de la maison est juste adorable. Elle gère la maison avec grande efficacité et surtout en toute discrétion. La location est idéalement située sur la côte ouest et on peut rayonner au nord, sud et est en moins d'une heure.La plage juste au bout du jardin est très belle et calme.Juste à côté de la maison, il y a une salle qui accueille parfois des fêtes mais uniquement le weekend et elles se terminent assez tôt. Ça ne nous a nullement gêné.Je ne peux que recommander à 100 %On y reviendra avec plaisir.

Nous avons été reçus par DEVI, qui n'a pensé qu'à nous faire plaisir. C'est une perle !Elle nous a concocté des repas extraordinaires. Großer Bungalow direkt am Strand der einmal mit viele Liebe und Carme errichtet wurde. Auch wen er etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, wäre dies nicht schlimm, wen er etwas gepflegter und sauberer wäre. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin lief super.

Séjour de rêve

Magnifique et spacieuse maison en bord de plage ! Nous sommes restés 1 mois et tout s est déroulé a merveille. Peu de touristes et beaucoup de locaux (surtout le week end) ce qui est, à mon sens, un gros atout ! Ils sont adorables ! Alors oui, le dimanche soir, il y a quelques detritus...mais le lundi matin, la plage est nettoyee et elle est nikel pour la semaine ! La salle des fêtes a côté n est absolument pas dérangeante, bien au contraire ! Elle n est utilisée que le week-end et nous avons profité de la joie de vivre Mauricienne (tout s arrête vers 23h). Devi, la dame qui vient faire le ménage est plus qu adorable ! Le jardinier est également tres gentil et discret. Je recommande vraiment cette maison, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Villa pied dans l eau donnant sur la plage public d Albion qui est plutôt une décharge public, honteux !!! une salle des fêtes à côté avec de la musique à fond toute la nuit, la villa nécessite également un gros rafraîchissement, avec du mobilier d’un autre âge. Bref beaucoup trop cher. L unique point positif, la gentillesse de Devi et du jardinier. Il est clair nous nous conseillons aucunement cette villa et nous ne reviendrons plus.

Adresse à recommander. La villa est très bien située, les pieds dans l'eau face à une baie qui a beaucoup de charme. Le jardin est joli et bien entretenu. La personne qui s'occupe du ménage est très aimable et efficace. Une voiture est nécessaire pour pouvoir faire les courses. Seul point un peu dérangeant le week-end : le voisinage sur la gauche du jardin avec un espace en plein air où sont organisés des fêtes avec dj et musique assourdissante ... mais tout s'arrête à minuit. Tous les autres jours, c'est le calme absolu. La villa possède tout le confort. Globalement nous en garderons un excellent souvenir.

Fantastisk udsigt!

Boede i dette hus en uge i februar 2017. Huset er godt indrettet, har en skøn have med pool og ligger et stenkast fra havet. Det er nødvendigt at have en bil, da der ikke er de store indkøbsmuligheder og restauranter i nærheden. Tak til Devi som passer huset. Hun er en fantastisk sød kvinde. Eneste minus ved vores ophold var den manglende internetforbindelse. Vi havde kun internet i 3 ud af 7 dage, hvilket gjorde det umuligt for vores tre teenager at lave deres online lektier. Men alt i alt: Et godt sted at holde ferie.

"La maison est spacieuse et très bien située, car il suffit de pousser le portail du jardin pour être sur la plage. Elle est bien entretenue, nettoyée quotidiennement et sécurisée avec une alarme. Les chambres sont climatisées, et il y a douche et baignoire. La piscine et le jardin sont très appréciables. L''endroit est très calme, et la plage agréable et propre. La baignade est possible sans souci, il n''y a ni rochers, ni coraux au bord. 2 petits supermarchés à proximité, dont un accessible à pied, mais assez peu fourni, et peu de restaurants accessibles sans voiture."

"la villa est tres bien située,au calme,une voiture est nécessaire car tres peu de commerces pour se ravitailler sur place.Personnelement nous avons adoré cet endroit.Pieces spacieuses,salles de bain également. Le seul point négatif ne concerne pas la villa mais la plage où certains Mauriciens y laissent leur détritus chaque week-end et le spectacle de canettes,papiers,plastiques jusque devant la villa gâche ce lieu reposant en semaine. Un grand merci à Devi et à son mari pour leur gentillesse.Devi est une personne tres attachante J''y retournerai avec plaisir"
