Beautiful Home in the Bluffs

My husband and two dogs had a two-night getaway, what a beautiful home. Enjoyed the hot tub, the ocean view, and all the modern conveniences of this home. Loved being able to bring our dogs, thank you so much! Highly recommend this house and we definitely plan on coming back.

Birthday Trip

The most amazing home. We arrived after dark which was a little tough. Not far past Mendocino quick trip to town. The pictures do not come close to what you walk into. Heavenly! The kitchen has everything and I mean everything! The artwork, views and comforts are 10 stars Thank you Rio Luna we’ll be back many times.

Amazing views of Pacific Ocean from Rio Luna!

It overlooks the Navarro River and Pacific Ocean. The open kitchen was very functional and fun to cook in. We were originally going to eat at a restaurant on our second night, but we decided to "stay in" to take full advantage of all this house has to offer. Very memorable stay and we hope to be back someday!

I had messed up our reservation and they were able to help me correct it. Then when we arrived it was absolute perfection. The home was so comfortable and just stunning. It was close to so many activities amenities so we never felt bored. We both wished we could have stayed longer!

It was equipped with anything that we could have needed and Mendocino Preferred made sure check-in/check-out and all communication was simple and flawless. The location of Rio Luna is ideal! We were able to explore the coast from Manchester to Fort Bragg with ease and also drive highway 128 through the Anderson Valley, which may be the most beautiful drive I’ve ever taken! Thanks for sharing this wonderful place, we will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is delightful. The location is wonderful though it’s tricky to find. Follow the directions , not the GPS . This home is welcoming and has a calming feel to it. Loved the music posters and lyrics throughout the house. You look down on Navarro River from the kitchen and dining windows. Such a unique view. The oval windows at the end of the living room and also in the master bedroom suite look out through the trees to Navarro Beach and the ocean. A pretty and interesting view. The upstairs is open and airy and comfortable. Unusual fireplace , but it puts out nice heat and burns a good fire. Nice on a foggy or wet day. The upstairs bathroom is amazing and is across from the Queen bedroom ( which is just ok). The kitchen is so well stocked with cookware, dishes , glasses, etc. It’s a kitchen for those who like to cook. Both bedrooms downstairs are massive , but only the front bedroom and bath is redone. It’s lovely. The other room though large and practical, it is dark and stuck in the 80’s. Needs a refresher. Other than that no complaints. It was so nice to bring our two dogs own h a nice home. Mendocino Preferred was great to work with. We’d definitely rent through them and would return to Rio Luna for sure.

Location location location… Rio Luna does not disappoint. The views were amazing and time seemed to stand still as you stare into the Navarro River and try to figure out where all the water goes when it stops before the beach.The house was to die for and we enjoyed the deck and hot tub a lot.Only complaint that some of our friends had was that the beds were too soft.

Rio Luna is a beautiful, spacious house with amazing views of the Navaroo River mouth and the ocean beyond. This is one of the best rentals in the area - definitely added to our favorite haunts list!

We all absolutely loved this house and the whimsical garden. It was absolutely one of the best houses we’ve stayed at on the coastline. Amazing view, really comfortable beds and furnishings. We would book again for sure! There were two things that made us give it a four star rating. First, the hot tub was only heated to 83, which was not warm enough for us to get in, and there is no way of changing the temperature. Also, the sound system was dope, but we could not find the Bluetooth location specified in the rather complicated instructions.
