A great holiday

The villa is well equipped, felt very secure and is tastefully decorated. The pool area is very private and relaxing. We used Ubers to get about but there is room for a car to be parked if you have one. We received great communication from the rental contact Jose and he rectified a few issues when we arrived with no delay. I would highly recommend staying here, I hope one day to return myself.

Not a resort location

Villa is spacious and clean and is maintained to a good standard. It’s probably better to have a car unless you want a half hour walk to Albufeira or rely on an Uber that are quick to arrive. The complex the villa is on doesn’t appear to have had any maintenance for the past 5 years or so by judging by the Palm tree growth. The communal pool and restaurant also look like they haven’t been used for a number of years.

The property is very tired and quite basic. It could be alot better with some investment.

We had a number of problems with the property from uncomfortable beds, noisy neighbours and dodgy air-conditioning units. In the main these were resolved quickly by Carlos. However our overall impression is that the villa is very tired and pretty basic. The pool area is good but inside is in need of some TLC. Carlos is also fairly robust in his style and the villa do's and DO NOT,s booklet is something to behold. We had a good time despite all this but we wouldn't go back.

Beautiful Villa!

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! This villa is beautiful. It is much bigger than it looks and the furniture is very modern. The surround soud is so cool! It goes all around the house (even in the toilets!). The pool is also very nice and the rooms are also very spacious. The pool steps are quite sharp but we just jumped in instead! The location of the villa couldn't be more perfect. It was close to 'The Strip' (about 10 minutes walk). It had restaurants, bars and clubs, shops and more on it (very cheap food). Matt's Bar is at the top of The Strip and was the cheapest place for drinks, but The Garage Club was the best place to go clubbing. There is a mini golf near the villa to which i would recommend going to. We were a group of 17year olds, so with no car, and managed to do most things that someone with a car could do as Carlos arrange transfers for us. The bbq wasn't that big and there were no sharp knives. The minimark was very close (about 1min walk) with a variety of foods. We all had a very pleasant stay. Thank you for all your help.

Good overall property manager very easy to deal with and contact

Could do with a comfortable suite the hard Rattan chairs were uncomfortable to sit on at night time, the floors were not clean and there was a lot of ants inside. But the house is beautiful and these few upgrades would make it perfect it is very spacious and very private.

Excelente estadia

Em tempos de pandemia esta propriedade correspondeu inteiramente às expetativas. Muito espaço, privacidade e piscina privada. Exatamente o que precisávamos. O Sr. José Carlos esteve sempre disponível e foi bastante prestável. Desde já agradeço a oferta do wi-fi. Tudo decorreu de acordo com o combinado. Recomendo.

Foi uma excelente experiência, a villa tinha tudo o que era necessário, exterior fantástico e espetacular para passar umas belas férias. Proximidade à praia e ao centro de Albufeira a 5 min de carro. Óptimo apoio do Sr. carlos!

schöne Villa mit kleinem Kräutergarten

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen dort verbracht. Die Villa war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Garten mit Pool war groß und schön angelegt mit kleinem Kräutergarten. Das Haus ist alarmgesichert und hat zusätzlich einen Safe. Die Stadt und der Strand sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto innerhalb 10 Minuten erreichbar. Erwähnenswert ist auch der Minimarkt innerhalb der Anlage. Dort bekommt man Brötchen zum Frühstück. Auch die Kommunikation mit Carlos war super. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit dem Safe, der bei unserer Ankunft geschlossen war. Dieses wurde umgehend behoben. Ansonsten war alles ok. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt habe ich aber. Man könnte über eine bessere Terrassenbestuhlung nachdenken. Diese Villa ist absolut empfehlenswert. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland an Carlos und sein Team.

Perfect

Experiência Maravilhosa

Adorámos a nossa estadia de estadia de 1 semana na Villa Borboleta, e queremos voltar para o ano! Éramos 4 adultos e 2 crianças pequenas, a villa é completamente privada, um sossego! A piscina espetacular e com imenso espaço de jardim! Tem todas as comodidades necessárias e mais. Agradecemos desde já ao sr.José Carlos, por todas as informações em detalhe, pela oferta do wi fi durante a estadia, o que com crianças hoje em dia é imprescindível! A limpeza nada a apontar, durante a nossa estadia trocaram as toalhas, limpeza de jardim e piscina. A casa é óptima, espaçosa e todos os quartos serem em suite é um plus, que dá muita privacidade. Não temos nada a apontar, apenas 2 coisas que gostaríamos que tivesse: tv em todos os quartos e máquina de café expresso. Mas não diminuiu em nada a nossa satisfação com a estadia! Próximo ano voltamos!

Hele mooie villa

Wij zijn hier met een paar vrienden geweest. Het was een hele mooi vakantie met een supervilla. We hadden wat problemen maar José loste dit altijd voor ons op. Verder was de villa superschoon en mooi.

The villa is exactly what you need for a relaxing holiday in the sun. It has a beautiful and sizeable garden with a great pool and a large patio area where you can sit in the sun or in the shade.

Relaxing and peaceful stay - perfect for the family

Our stay at the villa Borboletta was wonderful. The villa is secluded and not overlooked at all something that is really important to us as a family. A totally different expereince from your typical all inclusive resort holiday, myself and my partner were able to lie on the pool terrace and lap up the sunshine while our children splashed around in the pool and played in the spacious grounds. The villa grounds are well landscaped and the pool a perfect size (albeit a little cold when you first jump in). The villa is very well stocked with all of the essentials you need for self catering and home entertainment system is ideal for those days when the weather is not so great. Just a short and very straightforward drive to all of the supermarketsand restaurants in albufeira - ideally placed. The communication with Carlos was excellent from the start and he quickly resolved a couple of minor issues with minimum fuss. If you are looking for a relaxing break to wind down then this place is for you. We will definitely be looking to return in the future. The Nasser family

Heerlijk ruime villa met mooie.tuin

Bijna twee weken hebben we met twee stellen in de villa verbleven. ‘S Ochtends verse broodjes halen bij het winkeltje op de quinta en dan buiten ontbijten, in de zon of in de schaduw. Even plonsen om af te koelen en volleyballen met de aanwezige bal. En s avonds de BBQ aan, tafel achterin de tuin gezet om van het laatste zonnetje te genieten. Elk stel heeft een eigen slaapkamer met badkamer voor zich gehad. Daardoor voldoende privacy. Keuken bevatte alles wat je nodig hebt, ook als je een keer wilt koken. Uit eten is een klein half uur lopen, dan zijn er volop leuke restaurants. Kortom, goed verblijf! In 2019 gaan we weer!

Mooie villa rustig gelegen met voldoende confort. Een aanrader !

Een foutief beeld was het onderhoudspersoneel van tuin en zwembad die onaangekondigd de villatuin betraden.zo werd onze privacy geschonden. Het bestelde vervoer naar de luchthaven op 06/10 kwam niet opdagen., tot na telefonisch contact van onszelf. Voor het overige is ons verlof ons prima bevallen.

Superb villa holiday

This was our second stay in villa Borboleta and we were a bit worried that we were making a mistake going back to the same place for a second year running but it was even better second time round and we enjoyed our holiday even more. The villa is fabulous - beautifully decorated throughout and extremely good facilities. We especially loved the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is even a spare one downstairs which is really useful for during the day. Both the lounge and the kitchen give access to the pool area which is where we spent most of the day just lounging around. There are plenty of comfortable sunbeds and a large table and chairs for eating al fresco and the pool is surrounded by the lawn and completely enclosed by some beautiful flowering plants and hedges - we loved the privacy it offered. If you fancy venturing out then you can easily walk to the strip at Prara d'Oura where there are loads of bars and restaurants but quite busy so nice to come back to the calm of the villa too. Quinta da balaia has its own reception and there is also a communal pool area with restaurant and a small but well equipped supermarket within a 5 minute walk. Carlos dealt with our booking on both occasions and he has been so helpful, even arranging a car for us and transfers to and from the airport. I honestly cannot recommend this villa enough nor the service we received from Carlos who has always been on hand anytime we've needed him. Would we go back again for a third time ? Yes, absolutely !!!!

Stunning Villa In a Well Cared For Complex

We could not have had an easier booking from start to finish Carlos was more than happy to help with any questions we had , and the taxi service is a must we used it several times to go to the old town or a 15 minute stroll gets you to the livelier strip (senor frogs went down a treat if you like pizzas). The villa is absolutely lovely inside and out and with having a two year old with us the gated grounds were perfect. if we return to Portugal in the future we will certainly return to villa Barboleta or one of the other villas available. Villa has it all

My Wife and I with our 2 Adult Children had a super stay here ,the Villa is equipped with all you could wish for and more ,the Bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable Beds ,the Kitchen has all the required Cutlery etc.unlike many villas we have stayed in before, the Lounge has TV ,Music and is huge. The Pool with its many blow-up toys is terrific ,the size is just about perfect. The whole Villa was really clean with good Towels which were changed weekly. No downsides to this place if you are looking for a Villa in Portugal go for this one, you wont be disappointed..

Relax and enjoy with confidence
