Poorly managed and maintained property in Petroves
On arrival at the property, we discovered that one of the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms was uninhabitable due to a shocking amount of damp and mould, effectively making it a 2 bedroom property. The owners were clearly aware of the issues as they had attempted to cover over a faulty roof light with some antislip matting and black plastic! The pool decking was rotten to the point of large holes developing making the pool area unusable and dangerous with small children. Half way through the stay, a leak developed from a unit on the roof, leaving us with an unwanted water feature on an already unusable outside seating area. Blinds were broken, there were missing bedside tables, broken toilet seats making them impossible to clean effectively and damp in nearly every room from faulty bathrooms. When these issues were reported to management, the only offer of a resolution was to use a product to clean the mould, which would still have left the rooms uninhabitable. This neglect and poor management of the property really let down what could have been a wonderful stay!
