Excellent

A well positioned property that kindly allowed an early check in as well. Well positioned in the centre of old town with a lovely terrace and pool area. Rooms were comfortable and the accommodation very clean.

Excellent stay, great location, and warm staff!

Excellent place! Location is very central, a couple of minutes walk from the beach, and all the bars&restaurants. Hotel is old school but very functional, comfortable, spacious room, well equipped, and very warm hospitality that made us feel at home and helped us with anything we needed. Will recommend this place!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the staff was excellent, everything was very clean and pretty, and our entire trip was very smooth! Just a heads up if noise is a problem for you to fall asleep, this place is located close to Albufeira’s main square and it’s pretty bumping at night.

It couldn't be positioned better in Albufeira. Right in the centre of the old town. This, of course, comes with the caveat that it's noisy until late, but that's to be expected. Host was helpful, friendly, and the breakfast is super.

It was wonderful. Amazing breakfast, including homemade cake! We were made very welcome and I would definitely recommend it. We would happily stay again. Thank you so much, it was even better than I hoped it would be!

Really nice apartment with terrace

We lived in a newly refurbished apartment with 6 beds and 3 bathrooms. Modern style, good beds, good kitchen, washing machine and terrace. Close to the beach and the restaurants. Only bad thing is that there is no parking close. Seaview is not available.

Nice stay

We arrived quite early and were greeted by the owner. She allowed us to check in and explained the room/property. This was a large old building/home that had been subdivided. Our room was basic w a private bathroom. We got some great food suggestions and helpful tips for the area.

Great property with a beautiful pool. Very loud near old town and hard to get sleep as music goes until 4 am. They did provide ear plugs which was a nice touch! I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked decent. The lady who runs it was super nice but daily nosey and asking knocking on our door to find out what we are doing al the time or why I’m leaving in and out of my room. Other than that the location is great and the pool did it for me.

It was not good. Main point noisy above immagination. Room not cleaned several times. Wifi so poor i had to use my own. No management on site. Only good thing location, however several other hotel or guest house to choose from.

I arrived at 8 PM and because there is no reception or person on staff I had to call a number and communicate in broken English to try and get into the door to get my room. My keys were just in the door so anyone could have been in my room as it was unlocked. I found the property very loud even during the day with like four different bands playing at one time so it was hard to read a book or enjoy by the pool. I couldn’t have any advice on things around or ask any questions about my room to anyone as there was never any staff around other than the person doing the breakfast . The property is very historic with old wooden floors and poor condition, but the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very outdated, but it had a certain charm to it.

Malfalda couldn't do enough and was always checking if everything was Good or if we needed anything. The house is beautiful and you don;t feel like you are in a big hotel. The view is amazing over the square of the old town. There was noise from the square at night but the huge bed was so comfy that it didn't stop us sleeping. I don;t think I have ever slept so much on holiday! The entrance to the hotel is at the back and there are large slopes or stairs to get down to the square - and back up. Luckily you can use the Hotel California next door for their lifts so this brings you straight to the bar street with no steps. The only down side for me was the spiral staircase to the pool!! As I don't like these but Mafalda said to ask for a lower room so you can walk straight out to the pool. The pool was too cold to use - but that was expected in November ! At least we had great weather and 22 degrees each day. I would stay here again, but not sure if it would be too noisy in summer when all the bars are open late
