For value for money the Hotel Vila Recife was a great stay. Extremely close to the beach and authentic restaurants. Continental breakfast very good and staff helpful and pleasant .Hotel Vila Recife is an older style hotel with character but equipped with good air conditioning.

L’emplacement est parfait tout est près. La chambre est propre, très bon service. Pourrait être rafraîchit mais vraiment bien comme endroit. Déjeuner continental sur place ainsi que service de bar et belle terrasse.

Arrived late first day given room 508 by possibly the night porter basically a 1 star room in the apex of the roof in the original building next day asked for a room change and was assigned room 503 a more modern room with a small balcony comfortable and clean in the modern extension to the original building. Breakfast was good and staff are excellent

Jag bokade enkelrum men fick ett rymligt rum med två enkelsängar vilket var en positiv översättning. Helhetsintrycket var väldigt bra och personalen hjälpsam, det enda jag saknade var en ”stör ej-skylt” till rummet.

Hvis man vil med på en ugelang polterabend og fest med engelske unge så er det et super sted… der var fuld larm hele natten, det kunne vi leve med, stoppet afløb på badeværelset kunne vi leve med, men da vi stod op til en terrasse fyldt med bræk fra etagen ovenover og et hotel som ikke engang tilbød at vaske vores badetøj og håndklæder som var fyldt med opkast… så hørte vores tålmodighed op…. Bliv væk eller kast op sammen med 20årige drenge…

The hotel is centrally located, very close to the old town, but far enough to not hear the noise from bars and clubs. Unfortunately, we didn’t know that Albufeira was the party city of the Algarve. During every night of our stay, there were young, loud and rowdy men that were very noisy, under the influence and treated the hotel as a hostel (doors open, talking loudly, banging on doors, walking around in their underwear etc). We later discovered that this is very common in this hotel and in Albufeira. We had to complain several times to the hotel reception who had to give these different groups several warnings. It unfortunately made our stay unpleasant. The receptionist was apologetic and tried his best to deal with them. Also, the bathroom was very small, very little space between the toilet and shower, making moving around difficult. I also noticed the shower bottom was quite dirty. For the price we paid during the summer months, I am not sure if I would recommend this hotel. Perhaps in the offseason when there are less partiers, the hotel is better.

Fantastic location in Albufeira Old Town. Easy walk to everything including the beach but without it being in the heart of the lively nightlife. Very clean property, staff all really pleasant and helpful. Check-in was a little slow as only one staff member at a time on reception. Room was nice, bed comfy and a small balcony with a sea view and views to the square. Breakfast was fine for us - continental with some hot options. Kept us going for the day. Pleasant courtyard area to the front of the hotel. We didn’t use the pool as we prefer to spend our days on the beach. Overall a lovely hotel which offered excellent value for money and was ideal for our short stay. Thank you
