Villa Coelha Beach is a few minutes’ drive to restaurants, bars and supermarkets. If you are a keen golfer the nearest golf course is 5 km from the villa, Albufeira is only 5 km from the villa offering a scenic old town and a buzzing atmosphere with many shops bars and restaurants.

Albufeira is located 40 km west of Faro and 50 km east of Lagos.

Albufeira was once a small fishing that with time became one of the most popular tourist attractions in Algarve. The city still retains some of its character and its Moorish heritage, with pretty streets lined with whitewashed houses, the ruins of the fortress and a high cliff overlooking the beach. For the ones who enjoy the nightlife, Albufeira has some of the best nightclubs to be found in Algarve.

During the summer water sports such as diving or windsurfing can be enjoyed in Albufeira´s calm blue sea.

The region also has an 18-hole golf course, a harbour, and the Zoomarine water park.
