Property was close the train station which was very convenient for check in and check outs. The room was very big but the lighting was more ambient then full on lights not a big deal but something to note

The location of the hotel was amazing!! A tram stop right out the front that makes it super easy to get into the city. The facilities and room were well optioned and clean. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The parking facilities aren’t exactly part of the hotel building, but it was easy to access and use from within the hotel.
I’ll easily stay here again for my next visit.

I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the Sofitel never fails to impress!
Unfortunately due to an accident, we lost power, however the generator jumped into action quite quickly, With unprecedented work noise outside due to the accident, I was offered a relocation to another room, however at that time of night I asked for and was provided with earplugs. Eventually fell to sleep and slept well.
As an apology, even though it was their fault, I have been offered a free room upgrade with my next stay and you can bet your bottom dollar, I will be back!!
