"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Viceroy Ombria Algarve, and it exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always eager to help without being intrusive. The architecture is truly a standout feature: modern yet rooted in the local aesthetic, with beautiful design touches throughout that made the entire property feel luxurious and unique. The pools were absolutely incredible—serene, well-designed, and perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and every space feels modern and updated, clearly reflecting the care that went into its recent opening. We also spent some time at the spa, which was nothing short of perfection. From the ambiance to the quality of treatments, it was a top-tier wellness experience. The on-site restaurants were also excellent. Each meal we had was flavorful and beautifully presented, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international palates. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort. "We stayed at the Ozadi for 10 days. For us, it was the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Not everyone may agree with the latter, since the hotel is not in Tavira itself or not on the beach. It is about mid-day between Tavira and Cabanas. We always hire a car on holiday, so this was a positive point because it gave us full flexibility on where to go. Let's now talk about the hotel itself. It is elegant. Our double room was large, with a balcony, a large bathroom and a large bed. Breakfast allowed plenty of choice. I should comment on the staff: everyone (particularly at reception) was very kind and helpful. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool area, a small gym, a sauna, and offers dining options (which, however, we didn't use). We have no hesitation to recommend a stay at the Ozadi."

"This was a lovely hotel in a great central location for visiting Tavira. Although we did not take advantage of many facilities, the pool was excellent. Much larger and deeper than most city hotels and great for swimming. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the piano player every morning playing a great variety of easy listening music."
