“Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention. The sliding front door was also very stiff and awkward to use, which was a bit annoying. The wall is very thin from the main reception room to the bedroom and so it was noisy whenever people were talking in the……

“Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Very noisy. No blanket, only sheet. No windows. Person was not there to check me in. Only one functional shower for multiple people. Would not recommend. ”

“Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless……
