Superb Stay on the Bay

My wife and I and our granddaughter stayed for three nights at this wonderful lodge. The hosts, Paula and Pablo, were tremendously helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and certainly ample. Our room (#4) was spacious and even had a large deck with a view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to spend time in Alert Bay.

Nice breakfasts, comfy rooms

We based ourselves at Alert Bay Lodge for a few days while we explored the area. Room 4 has a nice deck, and good amount of space for a family of four. The lounge provides a nice area for evenings when it's too cold to be outside and you want space to chat or read or watch TV. The breakfasts were consistently well-made with options to satisfy our differing tastes. It doesn't have a kitchenette so be prepared to make your dinner plans on the island.
