Rixos Alamein – Guest Review Positives: • Overall hotel facilities and services are good. • Room cleaning was well maintained. • Pizza at the swimming pool was excellent. Buffet & Dining: • The open buffet options lacked variety; lunch and dinner were sometimes identical. • Dessert selection was disappointing, with limited quality and variety. • Of the three buffets, only one offered a good range of dishes; the other two were below expectations. • Breakfast needs more variety and should reflect an international standard. Restaurants: • The Italian restaurant at Marina was particularly poor. • Food did not taste authentic Italian. • Desserts were not prepared fresh but brought over from the hotel buffet. • Service was careless and unprofessional. Bar & Service: • Coffee service at the bar was slow and inconsistent. • Staff require better training and should demonstrate more professionalism and care in their work. We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Alamein! The hotel is fantastic — warm, welcoming, and truly focused on hospitality. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s preferences. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ activities — the bubble show, face painting, and the animation team were amazing. Our daughter had a blast and was kept entertained the entire time, which made the stay even more special for us. We’re really grateful for such a memorable experience and would absolutely come back again. Only small suggestion: it would be great to have a few more waiters around the pool and beach areas.

Avoid at All Costs – Rexus Hotel Alexandria is a Scam I honestly don’t know how this place has the audacity to call itself a 5-star, let alone “all inclusive.” From the moment we arrived, it was one disappointment after another. The rooms and facilities are filthy they gave us a dirty ice cube tray, and the chairs were broken. Even the beach was littered with trash. To top it off, when they sat us down at a table by the beach, they didn’t even bother clearing the garbage left by the last group. The so-called “all inclusive” dining is laughable. You have to wake up at 8:00 am just to book a restaurant, and when you finally get in, the portions are tiny and bland. One server was drunk on the job. The restaurant Veranda literally gave us food poisoning, and Turquoise served up food so simple it could’ve been cooked at home for a fraction of the price. Oh, and it’s not really all-inclusive at all. You’re charged out of pocket for things like shisha. Scam, plain and simple. The service and amenities are atrocious. They cut the water an hour before checkout, as if guests don’t deserve to shower before leaving. Our room was in Tower 5, far from everything, and we had my grandmother with us. It took 10 minutes every single time just to wait for a cart to get anywhere. Pools are shallow, menus are nowhere to be found, and the entire resort feels like it’s designed to frustrate you. As for entertainment? There is none. Unless you count drinking yourself into numbness

Being a regular Rixos customer, this particular hotel is poorly managed for multiple reasons: 1. Availability of Golf Carts, even though there are many Golf Carts around "For Manager(s) Use" which is rediculous 2. Suite location should be considerably closer or this should be clearly mentioned 3. Differentiation between All Inclusive clients and others should be taken into consideration provided All Inclusive is technically paying double if not triple, accordingly the service should be considered 4. Having a cancelled flight, caused the check-in to be delayed by 1 day, yet the Hotel didn't bother to allow an extended night to cover the missed day nor a refund for the 1st night, which is pretty much a cheap and disrespectful action by the hotel given the amount being paid per night. 5. Have booked an Airport pick-up, which never showed up, and when i called the Hotel upon arrival the Customer Service agent was pretty much rude and questioning, which should not be the case for a 5* Hotel 6. The Key Card was stopped before checking out, even though I had an approval on a Late Checkout

The beach, water and views were amazing. Breakfast was outstanting. Staff were very curteous. Our room attendat Ahmed Zakaria was very pleasant and always kept our room clean with all towels, supplies.and drinks topped up. Our experience was overall positive and we highly recommend this hotal.

Beautifully designed resort we liked everything from the room design and furniture to the turquoise water beach. The breakfast buffet was very good at both Turkuaz restaurant and veranda restaurant big variety with high-quality items, Staff were amazingly helpful. We are coming back 😊😊

I paid extra for all inclusive bracelets but got ignored and treated poorly by the serving staff , I brought this to the management’s attention but that didn’t help, I had to wave $ bills at waiters to get poorly made drinks , what a shame

Staff are good in general but the reception staff when arrive were not as per expectations they were offering me different rooms other than what I booked and I refused at the end I have taken rooms not bad but I think was not as I reserved
