Clean room with great balcony view. Roof top breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and staff were super helpful all the time. Very family friendly with great seating areas! The staff were absolutely amazing. Would 100% recommend this place and if travel to Egypt again then i will definitely book this hotel.

Very pretty property, but old! Needs upgrading. Our AC did not work well, and our bathroom ceiling was leaking. We asked for 1 bet got 2 twins. Other than that the staff was great, the location was pretty good.

The Windsor Palace is a beautiful classic hotel with clean rooms, excellent service, and a great location. Unfortunately, checkout left a bad impression. I was charged 240 EGP for two bottles of water, a bag of chips that was barely a quarter full, and an expired chocolate bar from the room’s fridge. No one had told me those items would be charged separately. After an otherwise pleasant stay, this made the hotel seem unnecessarily money hungry. Clear pricing and better checks on the snacks would have made a big difference.

Lovely decor from the colonial era, large well furnished room, but the wrought iron balcony railings desperately need cleaning and repainting to preserve them. The lift is glorious, and operates beautifully.

I hate critiquing this place because the staff was so wonderful, but...this flower of a hotel is a very old place, but beautiful and well maintained. I'd go so far as to say that's it's big draw - Beaucoups charm. It's contrasts. The roof top restaurant is the best view in Alexandria, but the food is crap. I had thought there was a pool and beach access and there is; 44 minutes away at another hotel and the shuttle leaves once a day. The rooms are big with high ceilings and the location is right on the street along the Ocean and the views are terrific. But...If I had it to do all over, I'd get a room at a hotel with a pool and beach access, 'cause that's what you go to Alexandria for.

I had a beautiful ocean view room with tall ceilings and long draperies and a marble bathroom. The staff is exceptional. They were happy to try out their English skills. The roof deck is incredible. The breakfast is huge with a giant selection and they’ll make you an omelette. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is a classic old Grand Dame.
