Nice house on a secluded lot. You would definitely need a 4wd in winter, but we visited in summer and had no issues. Great place for a quiet relaxing visit with the family. Perfect if you prefer to bring a 4 legged friend. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Mountain Aire' Getaway

Mountain Aire' Getaway is a beautiful house with stunning views and everything you need for a mountain getaway. The house is about 15 mins from local shops and restaurants in alma. The hot tub was great and there is a game room in the basement to keep the whole family busy. Definitely need 4WD or AWD to access the house in the winter months. Overall we had a fantastic stay and enjoyed our getaway at the house. I highly recommend staying here!

Thanksgiving Dream

We booked Mountain Aire Getaway for a family Thanksgiving getaway and it far exceeded our expectations. The home was truly a mountain home and was absolutely beautiful. The management company was also incredible. They communicated with me throughout the entire trip plus sent us informative texts & emails before the trip that helped us alot. I would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a beautiful stay in the mountains.

Perfect winder getaway

This was the perfect spot for a group as it’s rooms are dispersed throughout and there were plenty of bathrooms. We really appreciated some nice touches during the holidays like a Christmas tree and gingerbread house. The house is very dog friendly and provided a dog crate, bedding, bags and toys. It could have been a bit cleaner and used a deep cleaning (dusty vents, dirty couch, smelly throw pillows), however the basics were clean and provided (dishes, towels, bedding). Overall a great experience and responsive host, great location and fun entertainment (hot tub, games, etc ). We’ve already booked our next stay here!

My group of six adults really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house is lovely with plenty of room to gather or spread out. The beds were very comfortable - a must for our group! It snowed heavily on our arrival and we enjoyed the hot tub. Unfortunately the deck heater shown in the photos was not available so we had limited time on the deck. There was a service that plowed the driveway once the storm passed so we could go into town which was nice. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking and a full size wine fridge. We did have an issue with the oven and were told a repairman was unavailable to service it. We ended up doing a home repair to continue cooking. Overall it was a very nice location to spend Thanksgiving.

Fantastic place

My husband and I went up for his Bday weekend and had the most amazing weekend. The communication with the property manager was seamless and highly responsive. After our first night and not being able to get the hot tub to heat up more than the temp of our body temperature, I sent a text and the hot tub was in perfect working order before we got back to the property after exploring the small town of Fairplay - and that was the only thing, all weekend, that we needed help with! Speaking of site seeing - the views are AMAZING from the house, but we ended up going to Breckenridge on our second day, which was a beautiful scenic 30 min drive - verses staying in or near the very iconic and busy ski town that Breckenridge is - so convenient! Alternatively, if your just needing to get away and have no desires to leave the property - that is all good too! There are Rocky Mountain Blue Birds and really brave Gray Jays - that will literally eat from your hand. The hot tub gives a great view to the stars - of which are 3x what you can see in the city, and the house is gorgeous! Is there wear and tear? Yes, but none of it was an inconvenience or highly noticeable and the property management does a great job at letting you know if something is out of order, well before you get there. If it is just you and loved one for a romantic get away or a large family - this is a great place. We hope to come back in the summer for a mountain get-away vacation with the entire family!
