Wonderful Thanksgiving Vacation!

We had an amazing vacation at The Timbers! The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and with comfortable beds. There were plenty of games to keep everyone entertained, and the location was perfect, with convenient proximity to Breckenridge. The management company was very responsive and prompt in addressing any questions. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful place, would stay again

The place was beautiful, the listing said 4 bedrooms but there were actually 5 which was a great surprise for us. There was quite a bit of cobwebs and dust and a white thong left behind in one of the bedrooms. We ran out of toilet paper and we had to restock ourselves but other than that the place was amazing. Would stay again.

Beautiful home in beautiful place near FairPlay, CO

Beautiful house with everything needed for a great stay! We loved the color of the aspens in the yard, enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes and were entertained by visiting Momma moose and 2 babies. This was the perfect location to hike Quandary Peak and Democrat Mountain. The very close little towns of FairPlay and Alma are so cute and have great restaurants.

5 - Excellent lodging and location!

My family of 5 adults and one child had an incredible stay! The house is perfect - well-maintained and spacious with all the amenities you need. The views from the deck, hot tub and fire pit are gorgeous. The location is great, too, for hiking, exploring, etc. Fairplay is a few minutes away and Breckenridge less than 30 minutes. It had everything we needed to connect as a family. This will be a vacation none of us will forget.

The Timbers is a Welcoming Place

The Timbers is a beautifully designed cabin with magnificent views. The location offers opportunity for day trips and exploring, but there is plenty to do without leaving the property such as a game of pool, foosball, or horseshoes. The hot tub allows for nightly star gazing. During our stay, a bull moose came to visit. He returned a few days later with momma moose and a little guy. The Timbers is a welcoming place for all ages. We would like to return!

Perfect Mountain getaway!

The Timbers at Glacier Ridge is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for our family of 7 and well equipped with everything you need in a kitchen, including coffee supplies, spices and refrigerated condiments. Our arrival was a bit overwhelming as we arrived at dark and it was snowing. Google maps did not take us to the correct spot ( the address was correctly entered but it took us to the corner of Platte River Drive and Polaris Lane) so we had to drive around for a while to find it. If this happens to you, just keep going on Platte River Drive for a while and you will find it. Overnight we had a lot of snow and the long curved driveway is extremely steep so even with 4WD and chains we were stuck. Thankfully, a quick phone call to the property manager resulted in them sending a snow plow to get us out!!! The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing :) The town of Fairplay has everything you need which was convenient. We did stop at a Safeway on the way from the airport to get most groceries. The only issues we had were getting up and down the drive way and both snow shovels on the property were in bad shape so it was difficult to shovel. Fantastic lodge and responsive hosts made this 5 stars for me!

This was our second stay at The Timbers. The location is ideal for exploring or just relaxing. The view is magnificent. The management service was communicative. There are a few little things we might suggest, but none take away from the joy of the house. It is family-friendly, cozy on mountain nights, and inspiring for all who seek reprieve from the fast pace of daily life.

Magical Tranquil Getaway

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Timbers! Easy jumping point for all our mountain adventures and we couldn't wait to return "home" at the end of every day. The house was spectacular, it felt spacious yet warm and comfortable. Plenty of places to snuggle up and relax and chat. The hot tub on a clear starry night? Chef's kiss! The two female moose that would come to graze right next to the house were amazing. We also loved walking through the nearby town of Fairplay. Great Mexican lunch, Prathers Market had any little missing snacks and items we needed and there was even a Harvest Festival going on the weekend we were there. So fun! Host was super easy to communicate with (immediate responses) and check in/out was effortless. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable home with gorgeous mountain views in a great central area

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Timbers At Glacier Ridge. The views were spectacular from sun up to sun down and the home was extremely comfortable and inviting with every possible amenity. We have stayed in this area multiple times and will again for sure, there are a lifetime of activities to enjoy and explore within a 1 hour radius of this area.
