“When we travel we always look for the old hotels of the past, the Hotel Colorado met our expectation and matched other old venues like the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island, Michigan. I have 2 complaints and to some they may not mean a thing. First the indoor dinning area was closed for the evening and dinner was served outside, It was very chilly that evening and there was no other choice other than leave the property and have dinner in town. Secondly we had to pay to park on the Hotels Property.……

“It’s a bit shame that we checked in at 5:30 pm and the covers are on the floor. Luckily we didn't check in late otherwise it might take longer time to do the beds. Hope it won’t be happened to next booking stays for the rest of people.”

“Hate to give this historic hotel a bad rating but it is a must. Parking was atrocious, no where to park to check in and the gate people were not helpful at all. The bathrooms in the main hotel were dirty. The room they gave us for $345 was subterranean in the Aspire building. When we went to check out at 7:45 am there was no one at the front desk and it had a sign saying go to the main holding which again, no parking and pretty far away. I was beyond disappointed and disgusted by this hotel. ……

“The whole experience was fun and pleasant. The staff was very welcoming and warm. The pools were nice and warm, the hot tub was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”
