Located on a large property with a babbling stream right next to it, this property offers an escape into nature. Dip your feet in the creek, spot wildlife, rest below fourteen-thousand-foot peaks; Mt Lincoln and Mt Bross, and truly get away from it all while being so close to many amenities.

We enjoy keeping the studio well stocked with plenty of paper towels, spices, olive oil & vinegar, coffee, cream & sugar, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There is a dog bed, pack n play, and a baby gate in the unit.
IMPORTANT NOTES PLEASE READ: Four wheel drive or all wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended in November through May. The driveway and roads are plowed, but our high elevation valley gets a lot of snow. You will take a dirt road to get to the house. We strongly advise against coming to the Colorado mountains in the winter without a four wheel drive vehicle.
During the winter, it is likely that there will be snow and ice on the roads. The roads are well-maintained, but this is just a part of driving in the Colorado mountains.
The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Our wifi is the best in the area (starlink), but only satellite internet is available in the entire county. The connection might not be what you are used to. Cell service can be spotty. The area is so beautiful you'll want to disconnect anyway.
This studio is in one of the highest elevation towns in Colorado, and altitude sickness is possible. Please be cautious, acclimate if necessary, and stay hydrated. The stars are incredible here, this is because the neighborhood is very dark. Please anticipate that there will not be street lamps in our neighborhood.
