The place was clean. However the description on Expedia was incorrect and we had to pay unexpected fees. Expedia listed that pets stay for free and accepting cats and dogs. When I checked in and informed them of my dog the gentleman stated there is a fee of $20 per day per pet and $100 deposit. I had also messaged the property days before arrival asking about registering my pet and I got no response. If I'd had known there was a fee I would have made accomodations for my pet. Expedia stated seasonal pool but a hot tub available. Hot tub was not in working order and was closed. The room that I reserved was listed as deluxe and description gave you options of a king bed or double bed, I chose King but I got a room with a queen bed and a full bed. Walls are thin and you can hear the outside noise from the road and people walking to their rooms. Overall the place was okay and it did smell clean just not as described on Expedia with the amenities.

Everything in this place was dirty. Even though we only stayed one night. we did not feel like it was worth the price. The beds were lumpy and the queen bedroom had a bed that was literally on a slant. The furniture and overall cabin needs quite a bit of updating. Just some minor adjustments and it is a really cute, comfy place to stay. The pictures on the hotel site definitely sold me and that's one of the reasons I picked this place, but they definitely do not match the reality. It was also disappointing to take a cold shower when it was super cold outside. The couch was also uncomfortable to sit on and could really use an update as well. We were glad to have had only one night here!

It was very cozy. The floors were filthy. The trash can was disgusting. There was a razor with some socks left in the bathroom. No toilet paper and the paper towels were half full. Had to call to get both. Bring socks if staying because your feet will be black within the first 10 mins. Otherwise, it was super cute and cozy with a fireplace and warm water with heat in the winter.

The kitchen barely has any equipment, the utensils are old and limited, and the oven doesn’t work. The place is dirty, with grease on the walls and around the stove. Bathrooms look neglected, and parking is a hassle. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location is awesome but the Cozy Corner Cabin was far from cozy. I love rustic cabins, but I expect comfort and cleanliness when paying top dollar for a stay. The room was dirty, the heater did not work, the bed linens were dirty, the sofa had pet hair, the pillow cases were dirty, there was only a thin sheet and thin comforter. No blanket. We had to go out and purchase a blanket to keep us warm overnight. The fireplace had burnt logs and was full of ashes. The bathroom was dirty, the towels were dirty and appeared to have been re-used from the previous stay. I will definitely not be staying here again and hope the ownership and management step up their game to make this place shine. The potential is there!
