“Really enjoyed this stay - chilled and relaxed just as we'd wanted when we visited in the last week of May. We had a room with a sea view and terrace and loved being on the loungers relaxing in front of the beach. Comfy beds, good air con. Restaurant downstairs had good food options too. Breakfast was fairly basic but still nice to have included. A short walk from the 'town centre' but steps from the beach.”

“Excellent customer service by the receptionists (Sarah and Desiree) as well as the ladies from the cafeteria. Lovely and elegant hotel a few steps from the beach and all the Herradura venues. Highly recommended!”

“We check in later at night but the hotel closed for something. We had a calling to them. The manager drives a car and guides us to check in the same stars hotel for us. The hotel closes to beach more with the buffet breakfast too. Such action in efficiency without any loss for clients are the trust.”

“Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard.……

“It's great for families wanting to stay at hotel/pool all day. Food very bland and repetitive. Room spacious with comfy beds. Staff friendly and helpful. WiFi very poor or non existent. Very hilly. Car parking very tight spaces.”

“Superschöne Lage direkt an der Strandpromenade mit tollem Meerblick, gutem Frühstück, hilfsbereitem und netten Personal! Das Stadtzentrum mit der Altstadt ist fußläufig gut erreichbar! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in der Vor- und Nachsaison! Dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert!”

“Unser Zimmer war super, es hatte ein gutes Badezimmer mit Fenster, eine nette Aussicht auf die hügelige Landschaft und einen großen Fernseher. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe vom Busbahnhof und in zehn Minuten kann man zum Strand laufen. Die Verkehrsmittel sind allerdings nicht gut und die Entscheidungstrager der Stadt Almunecar hat offensichtlich wenig Interesse, ihr wichtiges historisches Erbe und ihre Strände sauber zu halten. Wenn ich wieder nach Almunecar fahren würde, würde ich bestimmt……

“We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. Several restaurants along the seafront, some good, some expensive. The evening buffet in the hotel was very high quality, plenty of choice, and even less expensive……

“We chose this hotel because it is pet-friendly. The hotel's decor is very chic; the public areas, pool, and gardens have a Moroccan influence. To be honest, it is magnificent. However, the room is dated. Huge, with a huge living area and two bedrooms, truly amazing, just dated and a little tired. I did not sleep because of the noise of the AC, and there was no light in the bathroom. That said, we could have contacted reception and had the light changed. We did not. We did not use the……

“Great location near the beach and many restaurants. The hotel is clean and well appointed, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. The shower is hot - in fact everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard.”
