Excellent location for exploring Northumberland.

Excellent location for exploring Northumberland. Only 5 miles from the beach. Alnwick castle and gardens a 5 minute walk away. Easy access to A1 for travel north or south. Would recommend this property

Had a lovely week in grosvenor house.

Had a lovely week in grosvenor house. We travelled around to see different locations so this was an excellent base. Facilities great - despite no dishwasher which we would have preferred in the kitchen or utility room. Able to walk to castle and gardens plus sample food and drink in local places as recommended by Ryan. Had great weather too which made Northumberland coast look even better. Would happily return.

A very comfortable and nicely warm property.

A very comfortable and nicely warm property. As we were staying for Christmas and cooking our Christmas meals a couple of larger saucepans and more mixing/serving dishes would have been helpful but I did come prepared. Thank you for the Christmas tree which was much appreciated. In other places where we have stayed over the Christmas period, we have been greeted with a tree with lights, some garlands, Christmas crackers, a Christmas table covering and shortbread biscuits making a very seasonal welcome.
