The Space:
Tucked away in the heart of Alnmouth village, Sonsy Cottage is a beautifully styled stone retreat that perfectly blends coastal charm with modern luxury. Just a short stroll from the golden sands, welcoming pubs, and vibrant cafés, it’s the ideal base for couples, families, or friends seeking a truly relaxing escape on Northumberland’s stunning coastline.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a warm, characterful living space that instantly feels like home. Deep green velvet sofas, vintage-inspired wallpaper, and the impressive stone inglenook fireplace with a cast-iron wood burner sets the scene for cosy evenings after windswept walks along the beach. Enjoy movie nights with Sky Essentials and Netflix, or simply unwind by the fire with a glass of wine in hand.
At the front of the cottage, the light-filled Orangery-style kitchen and breakfast room is the real showpiece, with its striking glass atrium which floods the space with sunshine by day and starlight by night. Cook up local produce using the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a Nespresso coffee machine and a thoughtfully stocked larder filled with herbs, spices, and essentials for your stay.
