Nestled in the hills above the historical white Andalusian village of Alora. This tranquil retreat w

Nestled in the hills above the historical white Andalusian village of Alora. This tranquil retreat was ours for a week in June. The facilities of which only pail into insignificance compared to the hostess with the mostest, the wonderful owner Angel, who made our stay just perfect, attending to our every question and need with kindness and thoughtfulness. This house is the perfect get away from it all retreat, the only noise you will hear is birdsong and the faint jingling of goat bells. The villa has a panoramic vista of the mountains, and the village, perfect for relaxing and whiling away an afternoon in the sunshine with your favourite read. The swimming pool was delightful and a perfect way to cool down. The house facilities were spotless, and the shaded terrace idyllic, covered in sweet scented jasmine and colourful spring flowers. We had several trips out, the most memorable of which was the beautiful turquoise lakes, although El Churro is on the tourist trail, our hostess with local knowledge informed us of a far nicer lake at Ardales, the most beautiful setting you could wish for. We would highly recommend this wonderful house and will definitely be back.
