We had a great stay! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. The property was exactly as advertised, and everything met our expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again!
This is a lovely place to stay, this was our second stay. Rooms are very nicely done, and I just love the courtyard area with a fire pit and bar-b-q. Very easy on and off the freeway. Very quiet. even though the I-8 is close.
Rooms clean but breakfast was limited and not intriguing. The seating areas in the breakfast hall insufficient. It was raining so we could not use pool or hot tub. Staff is nice. Overall pretty good. I'd recommend and probably would stay again if in the area
The lobby looks like a cozy hunting lodge, complete with fireplace and a dog (statue) by the door. Good breakfast options and good, strong coffee. Cookies in the evening. Spacious room, good bed, spotless floors and toilet/shower, absorbent towels, high end and generous toiletries. There was a comfy sofa with a table and a TV that swivels toward the sofa so you don't have to watch TV in bed (kills my neck). The plaza adjacent to the lodge provides Mexican food, coffee shops, pizza, ice cream, donuts, and a bank! We can't wait to come back to Ayers Lodge and the quaint town of Alpine.
Had a nice stay. The room was well kept staff was nice, breakfast was simple nothing huge but good. There are a couple of foods places to eat in the same area really convenient. Overall all I would come back :)

The fire pit and chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch in the evening. Breakfast is mediocre. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub turned green during our stay.
I *loved* this place.
The pool area was clean and the hot tub felt amazing.
The pond area behind the hotel was very peaceful.
The breakfast was super delicious, especially the strawberry waffles. The sausage gravy needed salt, but they have shakers there. They also have chocolate milk and Greek yogurt…super tasty!
The lobby has a beautiful dining table to eat at, and a wonderful fireplace with comfortable arm chairs.
I am not exaggerating when I say I plan to stay here for all my San Diego trips. I don’t even care that I’d have to drive like half an hour into the city. Haha. This place is wonderful, and I love the small mountain town vibe of the community.
Stay here! Do it! 😅
