The Karlsquelle nature reserve is a 10-minute walk away, and the apartment is about a 10-15-minute walk from the center. Black Forest Alpirsbach is a small town with 7000 inhabitants and has plenty of leisure facilities (swimming pool, mini golf, golf course, cloister concerts, glass blowing, gallery, brewery museum, etc.). Leisure activities such as the Vogtsbauernhöfe (approx. 35 min.), Europa-Park Rust (1 hour), Freiburg/Titisee (approx. 70 min.), Feldberg (approx. 90 min.), Baden-Baden/Alsace (approx. 60-70 min.), Schwarzwaldhochstraße (approx. 30 min.) are all within easy reach. The vacation resort of Alpirsbach (435 m) is located in the Upper Kinzig Valley in the northern Black Forest, approx. 18 km south of Freudenstadt, 60 km east of Offenburg and 30 km northwest of Rottweil. Alpirsbach, known for its Romanesque monastery complex and the adjoining brewery, offers an extensive tourist infrastructure: heated outdoor pool, indoor pool in Lossburg (10 km), bicycle rental, mini-golf, 9-hole golf course, tennis, bowling, modern Haus des Gastes, cultural and concert program, as well as its own train station. The approximately 90 km long Kinzigtal cycle path is very nice to ride.
