Wonderful holiday

Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful historic house. The town is straight out of a fairy tale ! The house is very close to lots of lovely restaurants. The enclosed garden was suitable for our dogs and we spent pleasant hours sitting ,relaxing there over a beer ,listening to the small river flowing by. The accommodation was very good-lots of space to spread out. The surrounding countryside was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend this destination.

Great place to stay!

It was a cute place with a lot of character. The check in process wasn’t as easy as we’ve had with other properties. Make sure to get check in info before you arrive. We weren’t able to connect on the WhatsApp. Overall the location of this property was amazing and the town was wonderful! I’d recommend this place! The Fox Family from the Untied States.

Gemütlich und warm

Wir haben die Tage im Gerberhaus sehr genossen trotz des Dauerregens. Das Haus ist gemütlich und warm. Einziger Nachteil, auf den im Inserat hingewiesen werden sollte, sind die extrem steilen Treppen, die von älteren Menschen und Hunden kaum zu bewältigen sind.

Haus gemütlich, urig Dienen knarren, steile Treppen, so wie es sein muss Ofen, Whirlwanne und Sauna perfekt, gerade wenn es draußen nicht so schön ist. Restaurants rundherum a lle gut. Brauhaus und Kloster sind Pflicht!

Schönes Haus in weniger schönen Umgebung. Bei Temperaturen über 35 Grad war das Schlafen unterm Dach , ohne Fensterschutz, und der Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse, ohne Sonnenschutz, kaum möglich.

Perfekter Kurzurlaub

Das Gerberhaus und seine Einrichtung hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt und mehr. Das historische Fachwerkhaus ist mit großer Liebe zum Detail und neben bequemen Betten und Sitzgelegenheitenn mit vielen ungewöhnlichen, handgefertigten Möbelstücken, urig eingerichtet. Sauna und Kaminofen waren nach unseren Wanderungen an kalten Tagen traumhafte "Erholungshelfer". Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet und ermöglicht einem auch zu mehreren eine perfekte Selbstversorgung. Selbst für unseren Hund waren 2 Näpfe vorhanden. Ein kleiner Hinweis für Hundfbesitzer: Ein bisschen schwierig waren die steilen Treppen (insbesondere uum Dachgeschoss) für unseren Hund, wenn er sie abwärts laufen musste, so dass wir ihn lieber jedesmal runter getragen haben. Für größere Hunde könnte das problematisch werden. Gibt es einen Verbesserungswunsch? Ja, aber nur Kleinigkeiten: An der Badewanne im Erdgeschoss war es uns leider nicht möglich wirklich warmes Wasser aus dem Hahn zu bekommen. Vielleicht lässt sich das beheben. Danke für eine wunderschöne Zeit im Schwarzwald

...etwas sehr besonderes

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Herbstwochen im Gerberhaus im kleinen Schwarzwaldstädle Alpirsbach verbracht. Das Häuschen liegt sehr ruhig und doch sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Wirtshäuser in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Sogar ein kleines, gemütliches Programmkino lockt mit ausgewählten Filmen ins ehemalige Refektorium des Klosters. Ebensogut zu erreichen sind die umliegenden Wälder mit ihrem abwechslungsreichen Wanderwegenetz. Das Haus selber bietet alles, was für unbeschwerte Urlaubstage nötig ist und das in einer sehr individuellen Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Auch unseren mit unsren beiden Hunden haben wir uns willkommen gefühlt.

Sehr schönes Haus das zum gemütlichen Beisammensein einlädt

Wir waren als Freundesgruppe zu Besuch und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Gerberhaus. Der Mix aus urig und modern macht das Haus zu einer besonderen Unterkunft. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein und auch die nahegelegene Brauerei ist empfehlenswert.

Perfekt für eine gemütliche Auszeit

Die Sauna und der Kamin machen den Aufrnthalt perfekt um nach einer Wanderung auszuspannen. Die Treppen sind recht steil, das sollte man sich bewusst sein. Fussläufig findet man eine Bäckerei und gute Restaurants. Wandern kann man ab dem Haus, muss also das Auto nicht immer nehmen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Traumhaftes Wochenende in urigem Ferienhaus

Das Gerberhaus ist wunderschön eingerichtet: Alte Dielen, neue Holzmöbel, geschnitzte Deckenverzierungen, moderne Bäder. Auch die Küche ist super ausgestattet, und der Holzofen macht die Gemütlichkeit perfekt. Es war herrlich, nach dem Wandern abends die Sauna zu nutzen und dann auf der Terrasse mit Bachrauschen auszudampfen. Gerne wieder!

Traumhaftes Familienwochenende

Wir hatten ein super Familien-Wochenende im Gerberhaus und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Es liegt sehr idyllisch in der Alpirsbacher Altstadt mit ihren Läden und vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Vom Haus ab gibt es tolle Möglichkeiten für Tageswanderungen. Wir empfehlen das Gerberhaus an Familien auch mit sehr kleinen Kindern weiter!
