Let me first start off by saying the staff is awesome. From welcoming us to providing all type of information as to what activities to do around the island. The rooms were beautiful. The garden & beautiful plants, surrounded by nature. The staff from the kitchen to the bar were so professional and friendly. The food was amazing. The seafood soup is a must have. The only this was the WIFI was not working well that day so it was a little frustrating but being out in nature makes you live the moment. I would definitely visit again and recommend 10 out of 10.

Such a wonderful experience traveling with family, young children and our service animal. The location is breathtakingly beautiful with its forestry natural landscape, wildlife in the trees (monkeys!) and opportunities to horseback ride all around the property, pueblito, and the beach. Stunning views and the only sad thing is we could not stay longer due to other plans, but we’ll be back here for sure!

An unforgettable stay.

The property has an incredibly nice location in the island, with a beautiful beach. The hotel and gardens are beautifully kept. The staff at the restaurant and reception were very friendly and service oriented.

This was paradise! Wonderful resort ; very clean and well located in the middle of the island. Set on a beautiful volcanic beach and with a wonderful restaurant, which had reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and can't wait to return!

To my knowledge, this is one of the better lodging places on the island. The hotel is very well maintained by its staff and all of them do their best to make sure you enjoy your experience there. Carolina at the front desk was helpful to me every day as I tried to plan my time on the island with excursions and arranging reservations to kayak and things on what to do based on the time of day and weather. The one drawback is that the reception closes at 8 PM and so does the restaurant and bar. This makes it difficult as I wasn’t aware because the hotel is 2 km off the main road of the island, which if you don’t have a quad or a scooter, then the only way to leave the hotel is to rent one of them or a vehicle. Hence you pay for a more high-end experience on the island with beautiful lush gardens and quite spaces, however, that also means that it can be hard harder to plan your transportation around the island at times. Also one important note, this hotel is owned and operated by local Nicaraguans so staying here also supports the community and people if you are supportive of traveling ethically.

Beautiful property

Pros: -tranquil setting right along the beach -stunningly lush property with plenty of howler monkeys and birds -beautifully appointed rooms (we had a cabin on the lake) -very clean -staff were very kind -highly recommend if you’re looking for a scenic and relaxing place among nature. Cons: - not the fault of the finca but plenty of mosquitos around due to pond behind cabins - poorly lit path from main road to the finca - overpriced food. We had 4 different menu items and would only recommend the chicken and carrot soup. -due to the sand and windy conditions, the rug in the room needed a good cleaning.

Perfect spot right on the lake, beautiful beach. The gardens are amazing, breakfast ( included ) are delicious. Staff super polite and helpful. Couldn’t recommend it more. We traveled with 2 kids ( 8 and 10 ) and rented the family room for 3 nights. It was perfect.
