"Great place to stay in Uyuni. "

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

"Fairly dilapidated building, there were 3 large bottles with urine in them on the front stoop. The woman who registered us was kind. The room was awful. Small, only a double bed, small nightstand, one chair. The room smelled bad. One small overhead light fixture, no other lighting. Bare walls. "Conveniently located for a visit to the Tiwanaku ruins (next door), this hotel makes an ok stop after crossing the border from Peru at Desaguadero. It bills itself as '4-star', but it's not really. Spacious hotel has seen better days and feels a bit neglected inside. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent meal was provided (although the restaurant was not open).
