Large well equipped villa in rural location

Excellent information regarding access to the villa and it’s resources. Very impressed with how well equipped the villa is with regards to everyday amenities. Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Tomar, Obidos and the wooden walkway at Sao Samao made easier by easy access to the motorway. Villa was very clean. Pool is a good size and a real suntrap but would have appreciated a midweek pool clean and more information on immediate villa outlook and surroundings. Overalll a very pleasant and realxing stay for our whole family and would reccomend it to others seeking a quiet rural villa.

It is a lovely large well-equipped house. Rooms and bathrooms are large and good. Outdoor areas and the pool area were enjoyed to the fullest. The house is located close to the highway, so you can quickly get out and see the exciting and beautiful nature.We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the area.

Maison spacieuse, agréable dans un hameaux tranquille. Nous avons visiter plusieurs villes et endroits. L'autoroute est proche et avons aussi voyager en train très facilement. John est très a l'écoute et réactif. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Très agréable

Ca été un séjour très agréable ! La villa correspondait à nos attentes. L'intérieur de la maison est très bien isolé et spacieuse, donc même avec 37° à l'extérieur, il faisait bon à l'intérieur de la villa, de plus il y a la piscine privée qui fait super plaisir. De plus, l'hôte de la villa, John, que nous remercions pour sa confiance a été joignable à distance à tout moment via whatsapp. Il faut absolument la voiture, c'est à 1h30 de Lisbonne et Porto, puis il y a pas mal de villes à visiter aux alentours (Coimbra, Tomar, Ferreira do Zezere, Nazaré à 1h de route).

Un ptit coin de Paradis

Après quelques petits soucis d'intendance (que John et Riu ont géré à merveille !) nous avons passé 15 jours formidables - L'emplacement de la maison est idéalement situé pour faire tous les monuments et villes incontournables au Portugal - Quant à la maison elle a répondu complètement à nos attentes : elle est spacieuse, chaleureuse, dans la montagne et la piscine est vraiment un plus et permet de se rafraichir après les journées ensoleillées à faire des visites. Séjour ressourçant et dynamisant - Je recommande très fortement cette location . Quant à John et Rui : je n'ai qu'un mot MERCI POUR TOUT Au plaisir

Peaceful and secluded

We had a great stay at the villa. Lots of room to roam around plus the pool. The location was central to Tomar, Coimbra and the Schist villages that we wanted to see. There were chickens, goats and a huge pig down the lane that we got to see every day.

Stort, dejligt feriehus med god pool og fin udsigt

Vi var alle 5 meget glade for feriehuset. Det var stort, velindrettet og havde meget brugbart udstyr i køkkenet. De unge teenagere var glade for at have deres egen afdeling med soverum og bad. Poolen var stor og blev brugt hver dag - dejligt med ekstra badedyr i huset. Meget flot udsigt fra huset og roligt på nær en del gøende hunde om aftenen/natten. Området er en blanding af meget gamle huse/ruiner og flotte, nye huse. Bil er en nødvendig for at handle og se området. Der er en skøn flod 15 minutters kørsel derfra, som var fantastisk at bade i og lave vandsport, så vi savnede ikke havet. Hvis man kan lide naturen er dette et fint område til vandreture og fantastiske udsigter.

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures and the assistance given by the owner and "house caretakers" were 5 stars. House well located. It has fields, supermarkets, health centers and river pools nearby. Our Favourite was Fragas de S. Simião. The Alvaiázere Junta de Freguesia was also 5 stars in making its sports equipment available for us to do our trainnings as we are track and field athletes. The Perfect Stay

Férias com muita paz e sossego

A casa está extremamente bem equipada com tudo o que se pode precisar para uma estadia em família. As áreas exteriores estão bem cuidadas e a piscina estava espetacular à chegada. Como a casa estava fechada há bastante tempo antes do nosso checkin considerámos que a limpeza feita não foi suficiente, quer dentro de casa quer no pátio que optámos por não usar a não ser para fazer grelhados. Após a nossa comunicação de que a limpeza tinha sido insuficiente o John tratou de resolver a situação e os espaços mais usados ficaram efetivamente limpos para que pudessesmos usufruir do resto da nossa estadia. No fim apenas temos a recordar uma boa semana de férias em que a piscina brilhou.

Séjour très agréable

Mon mari, mes deux enfants et moi-même y avons séjourné plusieurs semaines au mois d'aout cette année. La maison a été conforme à nos attentes et à l'annonce. Rien à dire sur la propreté et l'état de la maison, c'était parfait à ces niveaux là. Le propriétaire a été disponible et très réactif quant nos interrogations avant et pendant le séjour. La situation de la maison est très bien pour les visites (Lisbonne, Porto, Coimbra, Tomar, Aveiro, Peniche, Nazaré, Obidos etc). Une de mes visites favorites a été Coimbra et son université. Penser à aller acheter vos billets de visite de l'université rapidement car ils vous proposent des créneaux horaires. La piscine de la maison est plus qu'agréable, un vrai plus pendant ces vacances. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans cette maison et beaucoup de place pour que chacun des habitants y soit à l'aise. Encore merci à vous John.

magnifique séjour

Le logement de John est superbe et très spacieux. Nous avons apprécié particulièrement les grands espaces de salon, les grandes terrasses, la piscine, l'aménagement et aussi le caractère chaleureux d'Elisabeth (la housekeeper) que nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer ainsi que la disponibilité de John pour répondre à nos questions. Ce logement, entre Lisbonne et Porto, bénéficie par ailleurs d'une situation centrale pour les visites (Tomar, Batalha, Alcobaça, Obidos...). Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Séjour familial

La maison de John est située dans le centre du Portugal entre Lisbonne et Porto ... nous y sommes venus à 8 (4 adultes et 4 enfants de 3 à 11 ans) et y avons passé un excellent séjour : la maison est très spacieuse et agréable, décorée avec goût et très bien équipée, tout le monde a profité de la piscine et des diverses terrasses de la maison avec leur vue imprenable et dégagée sur les collines ... nous avons fortement apprécié la quiétude et le calme de l’environnement, loin des masses touristiques . On trouve tout ce dont on a besoin à Alvaiázere situé à environ 7 kms et les activités aux alentours ne manquent pas : plages aménagées sur le bord de la rivière, grottes, randonnées. .. et c’est sans compter sur la gentillesse et la précision des renseignements donnés par les propriétaires (tout ce qui est mis dans l’annonce correspond à ce que vous trouverez sur place) C’est un point de chute idéal pour découvrir un autre Portugal tout en laissant la possibilité de passer une journée sur Lisbonne et/ou Porto (1h50 de route) ou encore à NAzare et découvrir les environs d’Alvaiazere. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !!!

Superbe maison pour des vacances au calme !

Nous étions un groupe d’amis de 6 personnes. Nous avons passez un séjour formidable grâce à cette superbe maison : grande, bien équipée et confortable. Nous avons profité de la piscine mais aussi de la vue sublime et du temps magnifique !!! Ce que nous avons apprécié c’était surtout le calme !! La maison est isolée mais à 20 minutes des grandes villes (Tomar..) et à 5 minutes seulement des petits commerces ce qui permet des courses rapides. Nous recommandons cette maison à tout le monde (famille,amis ...)

Belle villa de qualité

Villa spacieuse et agréable à vivre, propriétaire à l'écoute (via mail) Située au centre du Portugal, nombreuses visites possibles : Porto, Lisbonne, Tomar, Coimbra et son Fado... Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances au soleil ! Nos 4 enfants ont apprécié la piscine. Seul bémol, l'absence de lave-linge.
