“The low rating was the result of being given a handicap room that made showering and using the bathroom very challenging. We are not allowed to park in a handicap spot. There should be laws to prevent hotels to use these rooms allocated to those who truly need them. I urge Expedia to take this issue seriously and reflect that in their terms of business. At a minimum we should be warned in advance and know what we are getting. We immediately requested the change and the receptionist refused to……

“A very nice hotel with a comfortable bed and pillows right in the heart of the old city.”

“Super”

“Increadibly basic, but ok for a stop over. However, the bathroom door would not shut and the toilet seat was broken, otherwise it was reasonable. Check in and out was easy!”

“Nice big room in beautiful old mansion, with great service from the owner, especially his well-stocked bar! Location is great for visiting nearby sites, and close to groceries, restaurants, and other amenities. Oh, and a very comfortable bed, with Nespresso machine in the room. We were very happy with our stay!”

“This is a very nice chamber de notes and is the reason I choose to stay in this style of accommodation. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the house was very comfortable. The area is wonderful for bicycling and I would recommend it for a bicyclist. You won’t be disappointed”

“Amazing staff and a nice location! Airconditioning is the only thing we missed during our stay.”

“Unusual place, old building with reasonably new bathroom.”
