The place where the apartment is located was part of one of the oldest paper mills in Amalfi where the famous and precious Amalfi paper was handcrafted, used for the official documents of the Duchy and in use at the courts of the Angevins, the Bourbons and the Aragonese.The apartment was completely rebuilt in 2002 and subsequently renovated, preserving the original historical structure externally.
