The energy here feels almost palpable

I’m still basking in the glow of my incredible stay at Hostal de la Luz in Tepoztlán! This enchanting retreat is truly a haven of peace and tranquility, with an energy that feels almost palpable. Even though I arrived at 2am the night manager welcomed me with open arms and made me feel safe and taken care of. During the course of my stay all the staff were really friendly and accommodating despite the fact that I don’t speak very good Spanish. The real highlight was the Renaissance Temazcal experience - it was transformative! The ceremony was led with such care and intention, and I felt deeply connected to the earth, my breath, and my own inner wisdom. If you're looking for a place to nourish your body, mind, and spirit, look no further than Hostal de la Luz. With love and gratitude to this special place 🙏❤️

WOW! This was a wonderful transformative retreat for my 33rd birthday. We had a real shaman in the Temazcal. 3 days and 3 nights of no cell service and no wifi. We left feeling reborn with new skin and new minds. Revitalized Souls. Thank you very much to the Mountains, the land, our Shaman Andres, the vibe and environment of the resort and OF COURSE last but not least, the two cats. we named them Milo (black cat) and Sissy (the white cat). Blessings to you all and we wish every new person coming here a wonderful transformative experience. TURN OFF YOUR PHONES!

Lovely place, yoga and Chi- kung available The only issue was that I asked one of the employees to ask for a taxi to take me to the bus station but instead they told the taxi driver to take me to Chalo. I was confused and concerned about my safety

La atención es excelente, lo único que mejoraría es la limpieza en la zona de las albercas, vasos sucios y basura, pareciera que limpian al final del día cuando deberían estar todo el tiempo quitando los vasos sucios.

La verdad la experiencia general fue increíble. Tienen una idea extraordinaria y el establecimiento es hermoso. Así como todos sus servicios. En su mayoría la gente fue sumamente amable, sobre todo en el spa un extraordinario servicio. Lo único es la tardanza en el restaurante para TODOS los platillos. Y falta un poco más de servicio en términos del restaurante y las áreas comunes

Hay que hacer cambios antes de que pasen más cosas

He acudido varias veces y siento que le hace falta cuidar muchos detalles, los colchones de las camas de la alberca de piedra están sucios y muy usados, me faltaron unos aretes que puede que se hallan ido a la basura, por mi descuido y de quien limpia. El hecho de que no haya una zona específica para fumadores se me hace muy incongruente con lo que es el espacio. etc.
