「Pros - good location. Short walk into town.
Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival.
Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish.
Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.」

「Bed and pillows very comfortable, room tastefully decorated and clean.
Stairs upto bedrooms.
Parking at rear.
Lovely breakfast and hand made starter with fresh fruits and granola/ yogurt.」

「The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here.」

「It's not a bad place to spend a night or two but is pretty dated and expensive for what you get. For some reason, no bath towels were provided and instead you get four hand towels. There was also only decaf coffee. All this would be fine if it was cheap, but it's not.」
