「Our first time staying at this property. So glad we found it - it will be our first choice for future trips to Chesdin. The house is spacious and wonderfully appointed. Kitchen has everything you'll need. Plenty of parking (we had 2 boats/trucks). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. House sits right on the water w/ a fabulous view of the sunset. This place is great for a family get-away or homebase for a fishing trip. Minutes to the Whippernock ramp.」

「I took two teams (UMASS & JMU) to the college super regional Pickleball tournament. The house was fantastic because it was affordable for college kids (though one needed to be 30 years of age to book it…I exceed that age), it had lots of beds and enough bathrooms and a kitchen. I recommend getting there in the daylight hours because it is a little off the beaten path and dark when you arrive but it was perfect fit for our needs - great hospitality! 「My teenage son and I stayed here for a 4 day swim meet at SwimRva which was conveniently about 5 minutes away. The basement apartment was very clean and extremely well put put together!. The apartment was comfortable and my son certainly enjoyed the video games on the giant tv! Sharon was extremely communicative and even left out snacks for us every morning! I would highly recommend this property!」

「We were notified 10 min before leaving that there was a mix up in reservation. We had to be put elsewhere or cancel. A total bait and switch scheme. Dirty, couldn't even use one of the beds. Just awful. If this is an example of what VRBO has for property "landlords" VRBO is not doing their follow up well. I am fearful of using VRBO again」

「Excellent location! Walking to anything. Very near the base. Nice neighborhood so sitting in the backyard was enjoyable and homey. Lots of considerate amenities are provided. With a baby along, it was a gift to have room darkening drapes in one room. Naps were great!」

「The property was clean and functional. We needed a place to stay with the family dog while waiting to close on our nearby home purchase (we were coming from out of state). We were happy with property and now live nearby. The only downside was the gravel road drive through the woods at the end. We're not used to that, but it really wasn't bad. Nice place to stay. We're grateful that we found it. Owner was very friendly and accessible. That was a big plus.」

「We came up to visit our oldest son & family that we havent seen in 5 yrs. All the grandkids loved it. They loved all the fishing that they did and by the bonfire. Very nice, beautiful, relaxing place. Has everything you need to get away. The sunsets and sunrise were awesome!!! Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake and listening to the geese and their babies. We even seen deer. We will be back in the future to enjoy again. Thank you Ameila for opening up your beautiful cabin.」
