Bellissimo

La proprietà è molto bella, con ampia vista sul mare dall'alto, assoluta tranquillità. La casa è dotata di ogni confort e molto ben tenuta. Si sta molto bene. La strada per arrivare dal porto di Katapola, circa 10 minuti, è in salita, quasi tutta asfaltata, ma un po' difficoltosa. Le strade sono difficili in tutta l"isola perché montuosa, ma molto bella soprattutto in settembre. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Grazie a Yannis per l'accoglienza e le attenzioni ricevute e sempre disponibile.

Wundervolles Haus

Das Haus ist wunderbar. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit hochwertigen Accessoires ausgestattet. Der Weg zum Haus ist zwar ein Abenteuer, aber man wird mit einem tollen Meerblick belohnt!

Wunderschön, etwas ausserhalb

das Haus hat all das gehalten, was im Inserat versprochen wird: wunderschön. Wir lieben es etwas abseits vom Trubel zu wohnen, wer das möchte ist hier am richtigen Platz. Michalis ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, nicht aufdringlich aber immer hilfsbereit, wenn man eine Frage hat.

Magique !

Un grand merci à Michalis pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. La maison est très agréable à vivre, très bien aménagée et très confortable. Même si elle est un peu à l’écart, elle permet de profiter pleinement de la magie de l’île.

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet, bestens ausgestattet, sehr sauber, wunderschön gelegen mit einem traumhaften Meerblick. Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Michalis hat sich perfekt um uns gekümmert, hat uns um 3 Uhr nachts von der Fähre abgeholt, am nächsten Tag hat er uns alles Sehenswerte der Insel erklärt und zum Abschied auch noch eine Flasche des eigenen Olivenöls geschenkt. Besser kann man sich nicht aufgehoben fühlen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Fantastic stay and great host

Thank you so much Michalis to you and your family for your attention to us and our little kids. The house is charming, very clean and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The house is naturally fresh. The view is amazing. Absolutely no noise. Everything was perfect.

Amorgos The Olive Garden is a beautiful property in a peaceful location ten minutes by car from Katapola. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Michalis was very generous stocking the fridge with food and wine. It is a great house for rest and relaxation.

Great house, great host, great island

We had the pleasure of staying at the Olive Garden for a week in August and had a wonderful time. Michalis (the owner) greeted us at the port and provided a warm welcome to the island of Amorgos. Not only was the house fully stocked with everything you could need, Michalis also provided fresh fruit, cheese and bread. Everything was organic and local. He also was happy to recommend beaches to go to and restaurants to visit. The house is fully equipped with modern appliances and very comfortable. If you’re looking for a place that’s quiet and relaxing yet still very welcoming and updated this is the place for you! We had a wonderful time on this very unique and special island, we will definetly visit again!

Inoubliable !

Accueil de Michalis plus que chaleureux ! Merveilleuse maison, au calme, vue impressionante sur la mer et les îles, ciel étoilé et étoiles filantes .. et j’en passe ! Pour les amoureux de la nature et des grands espaces .

Un soggiorno da sogno

Abbiamo trascorso in questa proprietà 10 magnifici giorni. La casa è veramente bella, arredata con gusto e completamente attrezzata. Non manca davvero nulla. Viene addirittura voglia di non mettere il naso fuori di casa! Vi abbiamo soggiornato molto comodamente in 6, 2 coppie di adulti e 2 bambini, avendo a disposizione 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni, oltre a uno spazioso soggiorno con cucina. Diversi gli spazi all'esterno, tutti ben attrezzati per essere vissuti e per godere di una vista spettacolare dei tramonti di Amorgos. Il proprietario è stato squisito, molto gentile e sempre disponibile per ogni evenienza senza essere mai invadente. E' senz'altro necessario disporre di una macchina per gli spostamenti (noi lo sapevamo già perché la descrizione della casa è molto accurata e dettagliata), trovandosi un po' fuori dal paese (porto di Katapola) e quindi dai negozi/taverne ma per quanto ci riguarda era quello che volevamo perché la contropartita è la massima tranquillità. In ogni caso in 5/10 minuti di macchina, su un percorso solo parzialmente sterrato, si raggiunge qualunque cosa sia necessaria. Con qualche minuto in più si arriva a Chora (bellissima!). Torneremo volentieri a trovare Michalis nella sua splendida casa, anche perchè Amorgos ci ha rapito il cuore!

Absolutely beautiful.

Twenty-five years ago, my wife and I celebrated our honeymoon on Amorgos in the small village of Katapola. To celebrate our 25th anniversary we returned to Amorgos and spent two weeks at the Olive Garden in the hills above the village. It was absolutely perfect. The view from the house at sunset, as the sun gently sets behind Naxos, and several others of the Cycladic islands dot the horizon, is spectacular. The house is beautiful and well designed, with elegant simplicity. The gentle breeze and the chattering of cicadas flow through every room, blending inside and out. The owners, Michalis and Apostolia, are extremely kind and attentive and know the island (and seemingly all of the islanders) very well. We were so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know them. For us, this was a perfect vacation and an ideal location to celebrate our anniversary with our three grown children. Cosy home, great value for money, perfect location!

This vacation rental truly represents a good value for the price paid! The house is spacy, very clean, fully equipped and beautifully designed with the furniture and accessories of high quality (both inside and outside). Apparently the owners took a great attention to make this place a superb and classy summer residency. The house is enough comfortable for 6 to 8 persons (family or friends) living there at the same time while offering some quiet space outside to those who may need to rest or calm during the day. The neighborhood consists of several similar and relatively distant houses and around this small neighborhood you may find olive trees growing on the mountain hill and of course the sea/ocean. We were warmly welcomed by Michael in the Katapola port who helped us to get into the house and explained us everything we needed to know about the house. I truly recommend you to choose this rental if you look for an exquisite and quiet vacation. Note that you will need to have a car rented for daily commuting or shopping.

Excellent séjour dans cette très jolie maison. La vue est superbe (couchers de solei)

La maison est très belle, en excellent état (vient d'être refaite), bien conçue et très bien équipée. Le propriétaire est attentionné et très sympathique. La maison est un peu isolée mais ce n'est absolument pas un problème (10 min de Catapola en voiture) au contraire (calme, super vue et nature autour). Excellent séjour en famille avec nos deux enfants.

Casa bellissima, isolata e tranquilla, la strada per arrivare vale la meta davvero speciale

Sbarcati ad Amorgos in una giornata ventosa, dopo qualche difficoltà per incontrarci, il gentilissimo e disponibile proprietario Michael ci ha accompagnato guidandoci per i tre Km ( di cui 1, 5 di sterrato percorribile facilmente) che separano Katapola da the Olive Garden. La casa è bellissima, in posizione panoramica perfetta, appena ristrutturata, arredata ed organizzata con gusto, attrezzata di tutto punto. Veramente magnifica. Ci siamo stati comodi 4 adulti e 2 bambini. Grazie a Michael, speriamo di tornare!
