Nowhere did it mention we would have to haul luggage up 4 flights of very tight winding staircases. We are an older couple, this information would have been appreciated. Also no fire escape plan, other than the only staircase.

Das Zimmer war sauber und sah neu renoviert aus. Es fehlte der Wasserkocher und Handseife. Die uns bei Nachfrage freundlich übergeben wurden. Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral. Wir haben in der Nähe des Bahnhofs einen Stellplatz in einer Tiefgarage vorab gebucht. Und konnten zu Fuß zur Unterkunft laufen

Didn’t feel safe, front door is unmanned and automatic right onto the street, stays open too long. Door to bedroom areas was broken and handle kept coming off. Room was ok but stank of old smoke and was dusty and a bit gross, bathroom felt like a hostel

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The staircase was extremely steep and there appeared to be no accessible alternative such as a lift, which would make the property very difficult, if not impossible, for anyone with mobility issues. This should be clearly disclosed to guests before booking. To make matters worse, the stairwell ; which also serves as an emergency exit, was being used as a storage area, with wood planks, bedding and other debris partially blocking the passage. This is not only unprofessional but a serious safety concern, as it would be dangerous in the event of an emergency. Overall, the condition of the property did not meet basic safety or accessibility expectations and did not reflect acceptable hotel standards. I would not feel comfortable staying here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Staff was very good. The picture of the stairs on the left of this page is miss leading. I stayed at the hotel across from the main hotel and I, along with others, had to climb 77 steps to get to the fourth floor where my room was. Every time I got into my room, I collapsed onto my bed trying to catch my breath. My room was located next to the top of the stairs, and I could hear others breathing heavy after making the long climb to the fourth floor. Never again will I stay there.

Durante la visita habían trabajos de remodelación que ni siquiera fueron informados y si bien es cierto no afectaron, ya que estuvimos muy poco en el hotel, si causa impacto ver en varios de los pisos cosas atravesadas de los mismos trabajos, incluso el día de salida en una parte de las gradas por donde teníamos que pasar, estaban cambiando el piso y teníamos casi que saltarnos esa sección para no pisar el material que estaban usando para eso, en el baño de nuestra habitación la ducha estaba prácticamente al lado del lavamanos e inodoro sin ningún tipo de separación lo que hace que cuando te bañes quede todo el piso mojado y prácticamente no puedas usar el baño. Por el resto la calidad del hotel es regular. Lo mejor sin duda es la ubicación muy conveniente para conocer y movilizarse por Ámsterdam.

The room looked nothing like the photos and was absolutely freezing. Took about 3 days for it to finally heat up. Stairs were brutal. Nice location but that's about it.

La localisation est top et la chambre très correcte. En hiver avec le chauffage l’air est cependant très secs, la douche a assez peu de pression et nous soupçonnons une remontée d’égout qui laisse parfois une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain
