Not what I expected

Hotel is in a nice area and very convenient. But the room has a strange smell. I have a feeling it’s not very clean. No reception, only some staffs work in the restaurant also help you if you have some questions. Not what I expected as a hotel

Worst check out experience ever

Everything was perfect until I had the worst ever check out experience. I got back to the hotel at precisely 11:44am to check out. A cleaning lady caught me at the door and told me the check out time was 11am and they were looking for me. I had absolutely no idea. I apologize for times and immediately rushed back to take all my luggages out. The lady was nice & friendly, she told me I could have 5mins to get everything done. And then I waited for the reception staff for check out, who printed out a bill of the city tax + an extra €20 and just asked for my credit card, without any explanation. I politely asked her what the 20 is, she rolled her eyes and said it’s the penalty for ‘late check out’. I told her that I was not reminded of the check out time as it’s normally 12, and of course, it’s my negligence so I apologized again, and asked if she can waive it as the cleaning lady told me it’s ok as I got my stuff out now. She said in these exact words: ‘She also told you to talk to the reception for check out, and I am the reception, so NO.’ She didnt even have the courtesy to at least clarify the policy. After my repeated questioning, she finally told me this penalty is for checking out from 11am to 2pm. My question is, if you have decided to fine me in the first place, why just sat there and watched me rushing in and out in 5 minutes while I have actually paid for 3hrs??? She showed no level of hospitality and willingness to help. The rudeness and arrogance were absurd.

友善的漂亮小飯店，房間夠大，訂了wow房型還附了一個小花園跟泡澡浴缸，房間美中不足是浴缸在床邊，泡澡容易弄溼，淋浴間的水也容易流出到整個浴室地板，得小心沖澡的方向⋯ 工作人員非常友善，也提供許多實用的旅遊建議，對於單身帶著小小孩旅行的我非常受用！ 鄰近梵谷博物館跟市立美術館、國家博物館等等，離運河游船登船處也很近，住這裡的幾天行程很豐富，都是走路就可以到達的距離！

We totally enjoyed our week long stay at the Conscious hotel.Its in a great location for seeing the sights. There is a bus stop about a minute walk from the hotel and the bus to and from the airport takes about twenty five minutes and runs about every ten to fifteen minutes.There is also tram stop close by which can take you anywhere in the city.The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable.I would not hesitate to return.

Personligt hotell som verkligen rekommenderas!

Väldigt bra service och mycket trevlig personal. Personlig atmosfär och lugna omgivningar. Riktigt fin frukost. Vi har inget negativt att säga. Hållbarhetstänket går alltid att utveckla. T.ex. skulle man kunna satsa på mer närodlat vid frukosten. Tropisk frukt är underbart, men kanske får stå tillbaka om man vill satsa på hållbarhet fullt ut.

Otroligt trevlig personal, vi fick tillgång att lämna bagaget tidigt samt fick möjligheten checka in på rummet tidigare än planerat. Fick även ha kvar bagaget på hotellet efter utcheckningen innan det var dags att åka till flyget. Rummen städades dagligen när vi var iväg på andra små äventyr. Efterfrågade om man kunde få två separata täcken istället för ett stort och det var inte några problem. AC:n på rummet var FANTASTISK! När det var varmt och fuktigt utomhus kunde man svalka sig på rummet utan problem. Bra tryck i duscharna också. Inte ett super stort utbud på frukosten men det var väldigt gott och mättande och de har en jätte fin innegård man kan sitta på. Den enda ”negativa” saken om man ska påpeka något för de som gillar att vårda sitt hår så skulle jag rekommendera att ta med egna hygienartiklar i form av shampoo, balsam, duschen osv. De hade 4 flaskor tillgängliga på rummet, en handkräm, en handtvål, en shampoo och en duschen men jag tror att alla förutom handkrämen är samma ”tvål” bara uppfylld i olika behållare. Och på det rummet vi hade så fanns inte något kylskåp heller så det var lite svårt att hålla drycker och sånt extra kallt. Men vi kommer absolut boka in oss på samma hotell i framtiden om vi ska resa till Amsterdam igen. Gott om restauranger i närheten, nära till pendeln som går in till centrum. Kan rekommendera andra att åka från hållplatsen ”Concertgebouw” med 2:an eller 12:an mot centralstationen då kommer man direkt in i centrum.
