The staff at the hotel were very helpful, providing useful advice on what to do and where to eat. The room was small with a window. Being August it needed the window open and the fan to move the air. Hotel Pagi was in a central location for exploring Amsterdam. Only A fifteen minute walk from the central train station. The room was serviced daily by the wonderful cleaning staff.

Die Lage war gut. Es war dadurch aber auch sehr laut. Es war nicht sonderlich sauber. Im gesamten Hotel hat es leicht muffig und nach nassem Keller gerochen. Wir hatten zwar ein Ventilator im Zimmer aber der war so dermaßen verstaubt, dass man das Zimmer noch mehr verdreckt hätte, wenn man den angeschaltet hätte. Es war ein sehr kleines Zimmer. Ein Koffer hätte nicht ins Zimmer gepasst. Auch die Geräusche aufm Flur hat man sehr laut im Zimmer gehört.

The people were very nice and the hotel was okay. The thing that bothered me the most was the cleanliness, the rooms weren’t all that clean, there were many bugs in my room and some dirt and mold in the bathroom. The rooms were also a lot smaller than the photos but that didn’t bother me as much as the cleanliness. Overall the hotel was very central and the people were nice.

The first room we were put in smelled very strongly of mildew but we let the desk staff know and they immediately moved us to another room. We’re from the States, so the room and bathroom were extremely small compared to what we’re used to, but the staff was great and provided us with a floor fan (no AC) and helped out in every way! The location was perfect! We were close to every excursion we had planned, and only about a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal.

The location is excellent. The steps are steep and scary. Only stay here if you can lift your bag up/down steep steps. That said, it was a great place for us. The staff even took our bags to our room - but even the reception is up some very steep steps. The rooms are small, we were in the loft so only had head room on one side of the bed. There isn’t anywhere to sit and relax. Despite all of this I would stay there again.

This hotel gives more of a hostel vibe, than an actual hotel. The rooms are tiny, the walls are super thin so you can hear EVERYTHING (people walking up and down the hall, the sounds of cars driving by, rowdy people on the streets), very difficult to get a good night's sleep here. There's no AC, so the rooms can get hot in the summer. There's no real hangout area other than 2 chairs near the reception desk. The building needs serious renovations. The pictures posted online make this hotel seem way more renovated than it actually is. It's a fantastic location, and the staff is incredibly kind. But for the price, this hotel is not worth it unless you get a really good deal on it and don't mind be woken up multiple times a night given the thin walls and proximity to the street.

Good location across from Metro. No elevator with several levels of steep stairs to rooms. Minimal amenities (hand soap and shower gel) and poor lighting in toilet/shower. Small triple room (3 twin beds). Nowhere to sit in room other than bed. No closet, but 3 hangers on wall. Luckily there was a standing fan (no guard cover on blade) in the room to keep air flowing.

Hotel bem localizado, ao lado da estação Rokin e perto dos pontos turísticos para visitação a pé. Região tranquila. Quarto foi limpo todos os dias. Bom espaço. A equipe foi muita atenciosa, a começa pelo cavalheiro que nos atendeu fora do horário do check-in (devido aos imprevistos do trem que perdemos por atraso da malha ferroviária), concedendo uma chave digital para abertura das portas de entrada e do quarto. Também, um caloroso agradecimento à recepcionista "Maegan/Meegan", muito cordial conosco. Olha, se você busca um ponto para se instalar e que lhe permite fazer TUDO a pé, num bom custo benefício, acho que este hotel é a pedida. Espero voltar um dia a Amsterdã e, quem sabe, novamente no Pagi Hotel. Obrigado a toda a equipe! Grande abraço do Brasil (J. Roberto e Lis)
