The location was very convenient — easy to walk around and close to bus stops. However, there’s no elevator, which makes it difficult for seniors. Communication with the administration was very slow and disappointing. For example, the safe box didn’t work, and staff made no effort to fix it despite our requests.

The hotel was in a goid neighborhood, but that was it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The bathroom was full of mould (walls and shower curtain) and emited a strong, unpleasant odour. The doors (especially the bathroom door) and walls of the room were visibly dirty. The bedding consisted of a topper placed on two mattresses which were themselves very dirty, raising hygiene and comfort concerns. These conditions fall well below the standards of cleanliness and safety that one can reasonably expect. In the last night we were also as well locked out our room, because the digital system failed. I have complained, but no answer came back. As a paying guest this is unacceptable.

Sauberkeit des Zimmers liess zu Wünschen übrig, Grösse okay. , falls man früher kommt, kann man Koffer in unbesetztem Vorraum deponieren. Das ist sicherlich nicht jedermanns Sache. Kontakt per whatsapp funktioniert recht gut und zügig.

Our stay was good perhaps the room didn't have good Wi-Fi, was super slow and the signal was poor, no frige, no iron, no microwave, and the bathroom extractor didn't work, I reported it but they didn't do anything about it. The room had a tv and a safe, if you ask me, it doesn't worth it for the price we paid.

“Hotel” discreto in posizione perfetta

Struttura situata in ottima posizione al Vondelpark a 2 passi dal quartiere dei musei (Rijksmuseum, Museo Van Gogh, Moco, …). A parte il check in online che ormai è normale, per l’intero soggiorno non ho incontrato nessuno del personale). Comunque la communicazione fuzionava bene tramite Whatsapp. La pecca peggiore è la pulizia: il giroscale in moquette semrava non abbi mai visto un aspirapolvere, le lenzuola non erano fresche (almeno uno sicuramente), e il cestino in bagno non era svuotato. Cosa gradita era che mi hanno lasciato mettere la bici in reception al riparo (cosa non prevista inizialmente) e di avere anche dato la possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio in struttura il giorno della partenza. Quindi, se non si è esigenti, struttura accettabile per qualche giorno ad Amsterdam

The room was small but comfortable. The location was very convenient to Leidesplein, the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museums and Vondel Park. The check in and electronic key system was inconvenient and confusing. They provided a Nespresso machine but not the little coffee packets—so we couldn’t actually make coffee. There was no person on site for reception or guidance, but weirdly—while we were out—someone entered the room to tidy the bedding. That felt creepy since they didn’t bring coffee or any other amenities—it just seemed like an invasion of our privacy. I would recommend it to budget/no frills travelers, but most people could find a more pleasant location. There was a yard in back—but we weren’t allowed to enter. In general, they made no attempt to make this a pleasant stay—just a functional place to sleep.

At first I was not able to contact the hotel to receive instructions, once it was solved, access was easy. The room is very small, it was so hot without AC. Door in bathroom creaks a lot. Convenient location (walking distance for museums)

Hotel Vondel is the absolute WORST HOTEL in Amsterdam I would not bother coming to a place like this! The hotel lies on expedia about amenities and also lied about having a 24 hour front desk! The hotel advertised 11am check-in and when we arrived we were sent away until 3pm as no room was available! Not front desk was working we had to talk to a door bell it was a very scary experience for a family feeling stuck across the world! After checking in to The hotel it was was small dirty and noisy next to a party place! Not suitable for family as they have a bar and a party atmosphere next store it completely ruined our trip booking this hotel caused a lot of extra in needed stress
