「Communication with John was easy from beginning to end. While the house might be a bit dated, it's clean, comfortable, in a fairly convenient location and of course the view out to the Similk bay is 1000% worth it. We spent a full work week partially remote working and partially exploring Anacortes and the San Juans island region. 「We loved our family time at Scimitar Ridge Ranch! Plenty of room to spread out for privacy as well as great spaces to congregate. We were charmed by the resident sheep and alpaca, and never tired of the gorgeous views. The location is both perfectly secluded and ideal for exploring the area. The Ranch was very clean, well stocked and comfortable, and the team was very responsive to our needs and questions. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful retreat!」

「The units are either new or just renovated. Still has the new smell. Very clean and awesome setup! Super comfy beds. We have a family of four and it was perfect for us. Super convenient. Don’t let the “no parking spot” scare you. We always found a daytime spot right out front, and an overnight spot just a couple blocks away. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time! 」

「We enjoyed our stay in this studio room (ADU). Hosts are friendly and helpful, the space was perfect for us. The room is very well laid out with attention to small details. Sitting on the deck in the evening and the hosts suggestion to spend a few hours at Sunset Beach using their beach chairs were the highlights. Also a nice walk to the Preserve for a stroll. "It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. "
