I guess they were low on staff. It took forever for housekeeping to bring anything we needed to the room, the night bar staff was rude and so was the guy at the mini shop. When we checked in the supervisor helped us out and made us feel welcomed but every other time I came to the counter for something the staff was very short. I wasn’t too impressed with the hotel do what we paid for. The kids loved the pool area. It was also very expensive to eat but the portions were small. I would say it was a once in a life time experience, we probably won’t stay again.

A wonderful location, beautiful view, spacious room. However, our room's thermostat was not working and we could not lower the heat. Nor could we turn off the heat from blowing. It was evening time when we realized this and needed to go to sleep. The room windows can only be opened a couple of inches so cool outside air could not be meaningfully brought in. We contacted guest services who said other guests in the hotel were reporting the same issue and a maintenance worker would visit the room very soon. After an hour and no visit from maintenance, I called guest services again. Guest services apologized and would send a maintenance crew right away. Already a long story, the bottom line is maintenance could not fix the problem, the provided a small fan to move the air around. I addressed this with guest services the folling morning at check-out. I was told because we prepaid through a third-party (Expedia) and we did not have other incidental charges to the room, the hotel could not provide us with any compensation. This was a less than acceptable experience.

Awesome hotel. Stayed on the black diamond floor with access to the Lounge. Lounge was amazing for breakfast and appetizers and evening. Also great place to relax throughout the day even without food service. Room is very spacious, would’ve been nice to have a fireplace. Can you forgive me wonderful views, and dining options throughout the hotel. We were there for a conference for 4 days, so only left the hotel one night for a dog sledding tour. Would love to return here in the summertime.

This was a beautiful elegant and modern mountain resort. The restaurants were very good, good selection of both food and drink. I especially liked the large pool, hot tub and gym! All the staff were friendly and engaging.

Room was too hot. Managerial staff was rude while dealing with the situation. No resolution to overheated room. Guest told they had no right to know the hotels process for why the room temperatures were kept so warm. Staff did not respond in a timely manner in dealing with illegal parking by non handicapped in handicapped spots. Spot occupied all day preventing some equal access by handicapped. Once again, managerial staff was rude and slightly adversarial when asked to explain the lack of action. Guest told they had no right to know the company’s process in dealing with such matters. The car never moved most of the day. Weed smoked in common areas with no action taken. Very obvious but will claim they “didn’t know”. Children frequent the areas. No parking dedicated to hotel guests resulting in a “ free for all” atmosphere with guests competing with any members of the public for the limited parking spots next to the hotel. Shameful considering the rates charged for rooms to stay at this location.

Great experience. Resort is continuing to show wear and tear and is in need of an upgrade. That being said, it was a wonderful experience and the staff and maintenance seem to be on the ball taking care of issues. Valets and staff out front are top notch and very courteous. The resort really enhances your time at the ski resort.
