Beautiful house

Beautiful Girdwood property

The property was a beautiful 3 story home with amazing views of the Turnigan Arm. The house was beautifully decorated and the bedrooms and showers were great. They had a very large hot tub that we enjoyed as well.

Beautiful home with an incredible shower

This is a gorgeous home, and our family loved our two nights here. The master shower is the nicest one I've ever seen, and everyone used it! Great location and the owners were very responsive.

Loved the home. What an incredible kitchen! Well provisioned and sharp knives! Hot tub hit the mark after a day of fishing! Perfect Alaskan Hideaway

This extensive property is nestled on the mountainside and in a semi-private neighborhood, with a fire pit and hot tub. The home provides more than enough space to spread out, relax and gather with family of all ages. The hosts were very accommodating and available to help however needed during the stay. 10 out of 10 Stars! Would most certainly return and recommend this property to others!

Magnificent View!

This home is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views! Sitting at the top of the hill, you can see above the trees and thru to the water! The house has everything you need with very comfortable bedding! It is close to the resort and the Double Mushky restaurant close by does not disappoint!! Lots of hiking trails! Just a wonderful peaceful place!

Amazing property!

This home is beautiful and provides one of the best views in Girdwood. The kitchen is top notch and equipped with anything you may need. The hot tub on the second floor balcony is huge and well-maintained. I can’t say enough good things about this home and the host. Hopefully will be back soon!

New, well- maintained home with lovely nature views from just about every window

We had a great experience hosting a friend's and family reunion. It was a catered buffet; we grilled some salmons and portobello mushrooms, et al to take the meal to a personal level and the wide open kitchen and living area accommodated our dinner guests and was cook-friendly. Fantastic!

Amazing Place to Stay

We have stayed in a lot of homes and this was definitely at the very top as one of our favorites. The view was absolutely amazing ! The house was so clean and well equipped with plenty of towels, dishes, pots, cups and such. They were so thoughtful with supplying enough toilet paper, garbage bags, tissue, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent and things of that nature, which most places never supply. It makes such a big different and those thoughtful touches make a home go from nice to superior, above and beyond and sets this home a part from all others. Hospitality matters! Thank you! Highly highly recommend this home.

The Perfect Alaskan Getaway

This house is a gem. The design of the house the location, and the view are all amazing. It is probably set up best for 2-3 families with kids, but my wife and I stayed here alone for 4 nights for our anniversary. The Girdwood/Alyeska location is beautiful and close to Whittier Portage Glacier, and Anchorage. And the property owner is super sweet and was very responsive to all our inquiries... Despite being on her own vacation at the same time. The pictures you see on the listing accurately depict the house, but it is hard to do it justice in photos. So I'd say it's even better in person. My wife and I won't soon forget our stay in this lovely home... I highly recommend it!

Girdwood Getaway

Our party of 8 stayed at this elegant modern house in Girdwood for 3 nights in July 2023. We were multi-generational: my wife and me; our daughter, her husband and their two girls; and our son and one of his girls. The kids' ages ranged from 4 to 7. We had driven down from Anchorage to celebrate a milestone birthday for my wife with dinner at the Seven Glaciers restaurant followed by cake and ice cream back at the house. We all had a wonderful time hanging out with family and hiking and visiting the Nordic Spa at the Alyeska Resort The house is well located in a residential section of Girdwood, up a hill with magnificent mountain and ocean view, including from a spacious deck off the third floor. The third floor is also where the large gourmet kitchen and a 10-person capacity dining table are located, along with a comfortable sitting area. We housed each family unit in a separate bedroom suite and were very comfortably accommodated. The host was easily reached by text and email throughout the booking process and during our stay. Overall, this is a modern, well-equipped house in a beautiful location.
