We had a wonderful stay at Babeth and Olivier’s villa. It is most probably one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. It is well hidden, beautifully designed and well maintained. It is close to the shops, 20 min walk to the centre of Biarritz and a short drive to other Basque destinations.

Another great stay

We liked our stay last year so much that we decided to come back this year. We never regretted the decision and had another great time in a fantastic, well maintained house with a beautiful garden and pool. The surrounding area still provides everything needed (restaurants, supermarket, bakery, nearby beaches, villages and cities). A big thank you to the hosts for once again making their home our home. We are looking forward to seeing you again!

What can one say that gives enough praise

Apart from the nicest of owners and the house location within short walking distance to Biarritz and Anglet beach, then the two bus routes within 2 minutes walk that gives great transport all over the region. there is the house and the pool itself ?As a house builder myself, I could have sat here all my vacation and admired this piece of Architecture !It is a wonderful design statement in simplicity and comprehensiveness. Absolutely stunning.If I win a lottery, then my first aim will be to have Olivier and Babeth commission a "mark two" version in Anglet for me !!!!. Cannot wait to return again folks.

Amazing

We had such a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. Babeth and Olivier made us feel so welcome and at home here, it was really home from home (except much nicer and with gorgeous weather). The house is gorgeous - finished to an exceptional standard, spotless and superbly equipped. The swimming pool is so welcome on a hot day. However the location is also fabulous with the beach a short drive away, and shops close by too for food shopping. For other shopping, Biarritz is so close and also the lovely towns of Bayonne, Hendaye, St Jean de Luz are all well worth a visit and just a short drive away. I honestly cannot recommend this property highly enough - check it out for yourself, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Our ‘kids’ are 22, 20 and 16 and were so happy here. The only downside is having to leave!

Amazing villa and wonderful hosts

An amazing house where nothing has been missing for a pleasant vacation. Decorated with attention to detail, well equipped kitchen for inside and outside dining (including a Plancha - we just ordered our own), a large (and clean) pool and a fenced garden perfect for children or dogs (ours loved it at least as much as we did). Upon arrival Babeth and Olivier provided a warm welcome and were available for questions throughout our stay. Shopping opportunities are in walking distance (local bakery with great bread and pastries), supermarket, Pizza/Burger for takeaway) and Biarritz and Bayonne as well as the beaches and a pine forest for running or walking the dog are reached in less than 15 mins by car. We definitely recommend the house for a booking. Thank you to you Babeth and Olivier for making us feel ‘at home’ in your house!

Perfect house and wonderful hosts

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the owners of the holiday home. Babeth and Olivier were incredibly kind, and the house was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed. The high-quality amenities, tasteful decor, and immaculate condition made our stay extremely comfortable. The location is outstanding - just 100 meters from a bus stop that takes you to Biarritz, Bayonne, the beaches, and the market. Essential shops and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, and the spectacular Halles 5 Cantons with Mediterranean cuisine are only a 5-minute drive away. Additionally, there's a club with tennis and padel courts nearby. However, the house with its pool was so delightful that we often preferred staying in. We noticed in the reviews that sometimes people complain about the loud bells of the nearby church. They only made an impression on us the first time we heard them. We quickly got used to the bell marking the rhythm of our day, and honestly, we stopped noticing it. Thank you!

An excellent holiday experience!

The modern, comfy, well equipped, and very clean house offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. During warm summer days, you can cool down in the spacious pool, or in one of the many shaded corners in the garden. The nice porch serves as an extended outdoor living room. The three bedrooms have well-resting beds with fine bedding and the two bathrooms serve 5 perfectly with more than enough hot water. Further, the location is great: near to the beach, many golf-courses and Anglet, Biarritz and Bayonne. The hosts are super friendly and helpful and do everything to make you feel at home. A tropical ceiling ventilator in the porch and the bedrooms would make this holiday experience even more perfect. Then again, it was extremely hot weather during our stay.

Relaxing Villa and Wonderful Hosts

The villa is a great space for 6 people and has everything you could need for a holiday. The pool is fantastic. We had lots of games of water volleyball (needs a 5m width net) and the kids had lots of fun in the pool. The garden is a great space - lots of seating and flexible enough to get some quiet time and also to socialise as a group. Everyone talks about the bells in the church - honestly it was a shock at first but you do get used to it. The location is excellent. Local amenities in walking distance and the centre ville less than 2 miles away (which is well worth a visit) Finally the hosts were brilliant. They were communicative but not intrusive. Thank you! We would return again.

Perfekter Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Zuerst ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeber Babeth und Olivier! Sie haben uns auf herzlichste empfangen und sich Zeit genommen, uns alles im Haus zu zeigen und zu erklären. Das Haus ist die perfekte Unterkunft für einen entspannten Familienurlaub. Wir haben Urlaub mit unseren Söhnen (20 und 17) und unserer Labrador-Hündin gemacht. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz, ist hell und überaus geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen.Ein besonderes Highlight sind der 28 Grad warme Pool und der üppige Garten.Die Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs sind in 5 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Bis zum Stadtzentrum Biarritz sind es nur 20 Minuten zu Fuß.Das Haus ist eine absolute Empfehlung!

vacances idéales au Pays basque

Nous avons avons passé 2 semaines très agréables dans la maison de babeth et olivier. Il n' y a rien à redire, tout était conforme à l'annonce. Maison spacieuse, décorée avec goût, propre. Les commerces de proximité à moins de 5 minutes à pieds et pour les plus courageux comme nous, les halles des 5 cantons à 15 min. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine chauffée même sous un ciel maussade et le jardin nous a fait voyager. L'accueil des propriétaires et leur gentillesse nous fait encore plus apprécier cette belle côte basque.

La maison est très vaste avec de grandes pièces; très bien équipée. La piscine suffisamment grande pour pouvoir nager. La propriété est très bien située par rapport à Anglet et Biarritz : si on aime marcher un peu, on peut aller à la plage d'Anglet et au centre ville de Biarritz en 30 mn. Enfin, boulangerie, pizzeria et Carrefour à 5 mn à pied. L'accueil est très chaleureux, on se sent bien.

Ein wundervolles Ferienhaus. Sehr umfangreiche Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und haben uns einen sehr herzlichen Empfang bereitet. Vielen Dank für alles und die tolle Zeit, die wir dort verbringen durften! Superschöne Villa

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub mit unseren Töchtern in dieser Villa verbracht. Wir wurden von den beiden Gastgebern Babette und Olivier aufs Herzlichste empfangen. Sogar Blumen und ein Gastgeschenk wurden überreicht. Im Kühlschrank waren zudem einige kühle Getränke. Außerdem gaben uns beide wertvolle Tipps für Restaurant- und Strandbesuche. Alle empfohlenen Restaurants waren super und hatte eine geniale Lage. Die Villa selbst ist großartig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Tolle Betten (eine Doppelbett sogar mit Blick auf den Pool), wunderschöne Bäder, neue Küche usw. Alles äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch der Pool ein Traum - er ließ sich auch abends toll beleuchten. Das gesamte Grundstück ist eingezäunt, so dass auch unserer beiden Whippets viel Spaß hatten. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch der Garten war sehr ansprechend gestaltet und bot viele schöne Liege- und Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank an die beiden außergewöhnlichen Gastgeber 💗

Nous avons pu profiter de cette belle maison durant une semaine. Tout était conforme à ce que l’on nous avait promis. Par contre la gentillesse et la bienveillance d’Elisabeth et Olivier nous a fait encore plus adorer leur maison. Ils mettent tout en œuvre pour que tout soit parfait, que l’on se sente comme chez soi et que le temps passé dans ce magnifique lieu soit vraiment des vacances. Des échanges avant d’arriver, à l’accueil que nous avons reçu, mais également durant la semaine et au moment du départ, il se dégage un respect de l’autre, un humanisme que notre époque oublie si souvent. Sinon la maison est très fonctionnelle, parfaitement conçue avec des espaces intérieurs et extérieurs bien dimensionnés. Tous les équipements sont prévus, la piscine est idéalement placée et vraiment agréable. Au niveau du quartier, qui est en mutation, on y trouve les service de proximité indispensable. Certains trouveront la proximité de l’église et de ses cloches un peu présente. Pour notre part, au bout de 24 heures nous nous sommes parfaitement sentis en symbiose avec ce rappel du temps qui passe. Nous adorons cette région accueillante et authentique et nous reviendrons. Merci encore à nos hôtes pour votre accueil et cette belle semaine.

nous avons été très bien accueilli par babeth et olivier, accueil très chaleureux, explication pour la remise des clés très simple et très claire, villa idem à la description, et très propre, emplacement idéal, près des plages de ANGLET et je confirme que la piscine est bien chauffée, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas pour d'autres villa !!!!! merci encore pour votre accueil, et bonne saison bonne continuation
