「I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.」

「We appreciated the careful and loving restoration of this charming cottage perfectly placed to the center of Beauvias and equally close to lovely natural walks by the rivers and lakes. A modest scale but we were able to work around it with 5 family members and enjoyed a relaxing environment interspersed with adventures into town to explore what Beauvias has to offer. Many thanks.」

Op 8 minuten lopen is een treinstation van waar je in 45 minuten met een directe trein op Gare du Nord zit. Dus ook prima voor een dagje Parijs. Het huisje is klein, maar ruim genoeg voor 2 volwassenen en 2 honden. De tuin is omheind. Op 5 minuten rijden is een bos, waar je makkelijk een uur kunt lopen met de honden. 「I'd cycled to Beauvais as part of the Avenue Verte on the way to Paris, I arrived earlier than expected but pretty tired, I hadn't realised that the B&B didn't open until 5pm (this was at 2pm), luckily Stephan came down and opened up early for me. The room I had was stunning and I will definitely be back for a stay with a special friend. Breakfast gets plenty of mentions in other reviews but I found there was plenty of choice to keep me powering toward Paris. Thank you」
