「The person I communicated with was pleasant enough, that wasn’t the issue(s).
After a long day of travel, standing on a dark sidewalk in 0 degree temps going through processes and payments to get permission to enter something of a lobby area only to go on a search for a video screen/camera to complete the check in and get access to the room was a bit much.
Once access was gained, the room was frigid, void of any usable thermostat or instructions on how to heat any one of the multiple...

「Marco was very helpful in checking us in and orienting us to Trieste. He had helpful suggestions about local restaurants and bars. I was having trouble with my WhatsApp and he was incredibly patient as worked it out! The flat was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated and the bed was quite comfortable with plenty of covers. The flat was well-located, near transportation, restaurants, and bars, and with a bakery on the street below. We very much enjoyed our stay here!」

「I arrived in the evening to a door that would not open and proceeded to spend 20 minutes unsuccessfully trying to get in the apartment. I finally went downstairs to locate an emergency contact number. Every subsequent time I would try to enter the apartment, it was a 5 minute struggle with the door. I am certainly not the first or only person with this issue yet the host had not properly prepared to include instructions and contingencies in their arrival information. When you arrive at the end...
