「Check in was delayed by almost 3 hours because they were “busy”. The staff was less than helpful and had no explanation. Us and another couple we were travelling with all had to cram into the only room that was ready on time. Four people had to get ready in a very small 1 bathroom hotel room or miss our dinner reservations that we made weeks in advance. The free coffee voucher was supposed to make up for this massive inconvenience. The hotel was great, the experience was garbage.」

「The photos of this hotel are very misleading. The level of cleanliness was worse than any hotel we have ever been to. As soon as we walked into the room we could see debris on the floors. There was a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fans. There was white splatter all over the laundry machines and hardwood. The view from the large windows was amazing, if only the window panes weren't completely stained and covered in a thick layer of dust. And the icing on the cake was actual WEED, yes as in...

「Great old building in design and common area furnishings are appropriate with plenty of character. As for the room: Sure, the building is old and one doesn't expect a big room, but ours was too small; there was about one foot of space on two sides of the bed. Space to leave one suitcase open, but not two. Bathroom was small, as was the sink. The major problem in the room, though, was the owner's insistence on a period bed that required one to pole vault into it. There was a two-step stair left...
