Great place for family gatherings

Everything you need for a family vacation to enjoy tranquility and fun. Kayaking and crabbing are highlights of the trip. Kids had a great time.

The house was very nice and the host provided many creature comforts like lots of towels, night lights, basic cooking supplies, plenty of dishes and glassware, a water filtering spout on the kitchen sink. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Access to local beach areas was very close and easy. Unfortunately, the kitchen faucet was in need of replacement. Right before we left we had to shut off the water and put towels in the cabinet under the sink to absorb leaks. For someone short, the items in the wall cabinets were difficult to reach. Overall, though, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Quiet oasis on the water

Awesome cottage with a view

Adorable cottage with a great view and all the amenities you could ask for on the water. From fishing poles to crab traps and kayaks we were not at a shortage of things to do.

This property was a great place for our family. Plenty of space for us and my grandson loved the bunkbeds. We would like to return when it’s warmer to enjoy the dock and outside area.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! It was nice to be close to the water and have a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the deck was great for watching the sunset. We enjoyed sitting by the dock and going kayaking. Thank you to the hosts for such a relaxing weekend!

Family trip to the Bay

We had an amazing time, the VRBO enhanced our trip with its relaxing atmosphere and had everything we needed to be comfortable and peaceful. Family nearby made this the ideal '2nd home' for our family and we'll be sure to use this home again!

Wonderful relaxing environment

The cottage is very comfortable, neat, and clean. The views of the water and access to the bay are great. There is plenty of room for sleeping, visiting together, cooking etc. The large deck is very comfortable too!

Great cottage for a girls weekend!

We booked the cottage for a girls weekend, to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday! We had a great time, the house is so adorable and cozy. The deck is absolutely awesome to sit out on, the view is beautiful! Plenty of beds for everyone, large kitchen area, just a really nice place for a laid back trip!

Great vacation! We lived in davidsonvill for 17 years and were able to find refuge in this cottage and reconnect with friends. The owner was extremely responsive felt like we had privacy although we knew they were right there if we needed something.

Italy ladies reunion

The property was charming and spacious. It was decorated so nicely, lots of attention to detail but not fussy. Perfect house to just relax. The outdoor deck is huge and perfect spot for dinner and hanging out in the warmer months. The view was lovely. It was a great stay all around, wish we could have stayed longer.

Teen birthday weekend getaway

Our group of nine 16 year old girls had an amazing weekend here. They were able to (by choice) pile into one bedroom, have a mini dance party on the deck and enjoy the amazing river/bay. This is a great property and I am already thinking how we can get back for another long weekend. Tom, the owner is extremely easy to communicate with and very helpful.
