Jim is great to deal with! Communicates by text which makes it easy. Very willing to help with anything yet not intrusive in any way. This is a unique spot which is close to downtown Annapolis and the US Naval Academy. With a quick drive we were to all attractions and downtown area. The place has everything one needs and is comfortable also!

Great stay at Weems Creek Cottage

My husband I stayed at Weems Creek Cottage for a week for my daughter’s graduation from St. John’s College. It was perfect for us - an ample kitchen, comfortable bed, delightful waterfront location near the college and kind, accommodating hosts! We were able to host 3 of my daughter’s friends for a crab feast and later, a gathering of family the afternoon after graduation. We definitely recommend this cottage!

Awesome place in Annapolis

Great little cottage with everything we needed! Quiet, beautiful location and a boat and car to rent if you need it. James was an excellent host, easy to communicate with and very helpful both before and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Extremely responsive host and beautiful cottage. Incredible location with tranquil views of the water. 5 minute walk to ice cream and nice restaurants. Easy walk (20-25 mins) otherwise into more bustling downtown Annapolis.

Annapolis getaway

Weems Creek cottage is very well appointed with superb water views, everything is clean and well stocked. Jim was very detailed in all his communications with us and everything went smoothly We were looking for quiet weekend away and the cottage was the perfect place to do that. The location is great with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Weems creek cottage

Very cute cottage right on the water with access to kayaks, canoe. Jim, the owner, was welcoming and concerned about our comfort. Highly recommend- we would definitely go back.

Great weekend!

Overall great weekend. House was better than described, views were excellent, and location was perfect! Jim was an excellent host and was incredibly helpful with the restaurant suggestions! We will be back!

Perfect spot to call home for the weekend while visiting our daughter at USNA. James was great - very hospitable and accommodating. Well-appointed house on a quiet street. I am sure the water and outdoor activities are amazing in the summer!

Cute cottage with character

The place is very comfortable and tucked away on the creek with nice water views. The host was accessible but I didn’t need a thing! The screened porch is a wonderful spot to enjoy my scone and tea fresh from the Great Harvest bakery just up the road. The golden sunset was a bonus each evening.

Loved Weems Creek Cottage

Adorable waterfront cottage! A very peaceful setting with beautiful water views. The cottage had everything that we needed and more! Jim was a great host. We enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, overlooking the water. It was a perfect place for us to stay and really get to experience the local area.

Excellent hospitality

The pictures and reviews of this cottage are extremely accurate. I questioned whether it would be too small for a family of three, but it was perfect. The cottage and the grounds were beautiful, and we had a great time fishing on the dock. What’s even better is the hospitality we received from Jim and the family. Great people, great service, and a great place to unwind and enjoy nature.

Wonderful host and property

Awesome waterfront stay in Annapolis

We got away for a long weekend to Annapolis as a couple. The cottage was perfect for the get away, right on the water. Our host was attentive to detail and the cottage was well stocked and beautiful. It was so peaceful but close to everything in the town; everything available in just minutes. The waterfront was beautiful at night and sunsets stunning. Would return in a minute!!!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the owner was very responsive and accommodating. However, the cottage was smaller and the mattress less comfortable than anticipated. The premises could benefit from a closet or dresser. The back porch and view of the river was lovely.

Our stay at Weems Creek Cottage in Annapolis was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we booked through checkout, the owner’s communication was exceptional—timely, thoughtful, and helpful at every step. While the listing’s beautiful photos initially drew us in, they can’t fully capture the charm, warmth, and breathtaking waterfront views that define this cottage. The modern kitchen was fully stocked with every essential for a seamless weekend getaway, and the spacious living areas were both inviting and comfortable. The owner put great care into every detail, from clear instructions for check-in to tips on enjoying the fire pit, boat dock, paddle boards, and fishing gear. This is truly a must-stay experience—easily a 5 star visit and the best VRBO we’ve experienced to date.

Staying on the waterfront is the way to go

We had our midshipman with us, who was in between blocks and wanted to have some friends over for a barbecue. This place was perfect. The kayaks and the dock provided a nice respite from DTA. If we needed something, the owner was quick to provide. The location was right near the academy, very convenient. If you’re just 2 people tired of hotels, paying extra for parking, and wanting to cook a couple of your meals, this is your place.

Perfect Location

Darling little house and fanastic views. We came to visit our daughter in Annapolis and attended the ECU NAVY game. We were in walking distance to the stadium and only a 15 min uber to the Annapolis waterfront. We enjoyed reading in the sun, hanging out on the dock and taking the boat out for a spin. The hosts are attentive and go out of the way to make sure you have everything you need.

Wonderful weekend

My husband and I stayed at the Weems creek cottage for a childless getaway weekend. Everything was excellent, from communication with Jim, to the gorgeous property and the time we had in the city of Annapolis. Not to mention the weather was nice! We spent Friday and most of Saturday in the city of Annapolis. On Saturday evening we just enjoyed our stay at the cottage, we had two fires, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. THIS was exactly what we needed and what we enjoy doing. The cottage is so cozy and cute! We just didn’t want to leave! Thanks to Jim for being a wonderful host!

All we expected & more

I am so happy I found this gem that was exactly what we expected, and then more! The cottage was spotless & extremely welcoming. The dock was great along w/ the use all of the outdoor watercrafts. The host, Jim is so accommodating and couldn't have made us fell more welcomed. He was extremely helpful, but at the same time gave us full privacy unless we reached out with a question or suggestion. we enjoyed the short walks to the delicious Mexican restaurant and adorable coffee shop. Our Uber rides were quick and easy to get downtown. I sure hope to return for years to come. Thank you for everything!

Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Hospitality and Stunning Waterviews

Jim is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to create an unparalleled experience with outstanding service and hospitality. We've stayed in numerous rentals, but this one truly stands out. The waterview, the boats, the hospitality, and the prime location were all incredible and deeply appreciated. If you're on the fence about booking this place, just do it. It's perfect for a couple. I even caught some nice perch right off the dock! Our biggest concern about renting on the water was the potential for mold or unpleasant odors, but this place was completely odor-free, filled with fresh air and delightful scents. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Jim, for making our stay so memorable!

Spend a week at Weems Creek

We arrived in Gale force winds. Torrential downpour & waves... And it couldn't have been more wonderful... Nature was in her prime. The cottage is darling. Probably not for small children. But perfect for us two... It was so relaxing watching the river traffic, we were sad to come home.. DC is very convenient, located just a short 35 min drive. Annapolis itself is clean & the history is thrilling to know. Walking in the short distance in city center is charming and interesting with shops and eatery's... My daughter and I enjoyed the local restaurants and sights...
