Independent Anshun hotels

"Very basic. Can’t find it from street. It doesn’t even have its own street number. It’s located behind a building and sharing the building with other small hotel and residence. It took us quite sometime to find it. It’s in such lousy condition we were almost thought we were back to last century. But the staffs are warm and helpful. The people we met on the cracking noise elevator were minding their own business. We managed to survive the days we were there. Will not recommend it for families...

"Façade of a Business Hotel There's nothing charming or beautiful about this hotel, or the area it is in, so the only reason most people come is business (we were there as part of a vacation, but we were exceptions). Given that, you'd expect a front desk staff that spoke English, but most of them didn't speak a single word of English (there was one exception, who was also the only really friendly person we met behind the desk). "The hotel conditions were disappointing. The soundproofing was nearly nonexistent, and the room looked nothing like the photos shown on Expedia, it felt more like a dated motel from the early 2000s. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, I ended up canceling the remainder of my stay after the first night. "
