Lots of kids, and very noisy hotel with activities happening right below the rooms. The positives were the kindness of staff & food choices.

We would not recommend this house at all. It’s actually two separate areas and not connected. When we first arrived we went into front apartment and discovered where was no AC in living area /kitchen and was so hot at 9pm when we arrived we could not sit in there. Lovely peaceful villa out of the way down a bumpy track (car essential!) Vultures circling overheard, butterflies and goat bells. Beautiful views of sea and mountains. In recent years it has become extremely busy. An OK beach has been covered from end to end with sunbeds. Civic amenities have not kept up with massive increase in tourists. Crete is very beautiful but litter is a problem
