"We’ve traveled all over the world and this was one of the best views we’ve ever had! Roxane is a wonderful host. We arrived after a long flight and she had wine, beer and snacks all ready for us and surprised us a day later with some local pies. The pool was lovely and the steps right down to the beach were great. Many wonderful restaurants and markets within walking distance. Loved this charming apartment and Almyrida. We will definitely be back! "

"The villa is in a lovely quiet location but close to the bars and restaurants and of course the beach. House was lovely and welcoming and had a welcome hamper with amazing olive oil that is produced by the olive trees in the garden. We had a very relaxing holiday but also had the chance to explore some of the island. "

"We spent 2 fantastic weeks in Wendy’s property outside Kalyves. Villa is stunning, photos do not do it justice. Communications with Wendy were answered quickly and the whole booking went smoothly and without any hitches.A car is a must, Kalyves is too far to walk to and return journey is up a steep hill. Also Crete itself is beautiful and requires further investigation so a car is essential.All in all a fantastic holiday topped off by a 5 star villa."
